    FACTS:
Pompey 2010 ltd is trading and is not in admin, CSI is our outright owner but are in admin, CSI was our guarantor for any payment shortfalls in between incomes such as tv rights, sponsorship, day to day running and parachute payments, gate receipts etc......which all make up our total income......being in a CVA we were always flying close to the wind! Now that CSI are not funding any shortfalls, PFC has a short term cash flow issue on day to day business..........hence HMRC payments adrift for DEC amd most likely JAN.......

Provided an owner can be saught soon, then there will be no issues, unfortunately, with only a week of the transfer window left, it is possible that some one will leave to fund the short term until a new owner can be installed............I hate to think of the potential consequences if no one comes in................but rumours yesterday were strong and there does seem to be a glimmer in the not to distant future......provided SASHA and CHAINRAI dont hold up proceedings...............

One thing is for sure though, CHAINRAI, thankfully has a lot of money still owed to him and a clause in the sale to CSI means that until ALL of the monies due to him and SASHA were met he still retains title deed of some of the assets............and as he wont want to loose his familys investments I dont forsee to many pitfalls, after all, we are talking small amounts compared to our previous 120M + debt!

It would be a real shame to loose some of the squad, which is already thread bare, and I cant help but feel that some of the rumours and comments surfacing from AA are to bolster through a sale quicker rather than sooner..........afeter all, how are we signing players knowing this news was to surface just hours later?

On a personal note, as a life long pompey fan, it is heartening to read posts of support from our neighbours, thank you all.

Trouble with pompey is because of the huge amount of dodgy owners. All they have cared about is a quck profit. Money was spent on players only(they have gone now), but none has been spent on what you have really needed.

No money has been spent on Youth/ Training Facilities or your stadiums at all. This is what investors look at when buying a club. Due to you not really having any that are up to standard, I'm afraid it will be very hard to find a new owner. Unless it's a face from the past (Chanrai) or a new dodgy owner.

    Sorry to say.

Before CSI went to the wall they admitted they injected 10.7 mil into pompey. In order to cover wages and to buy a few new players. I fear this will end up biting pompey on the arse, ending up with a points deduction.

A points deduction is the least of our worries.

True but with a points deduction, you become even less of a good looking asset.

If you are given a points sedition I would've thought it would be a minimum of 15 plus, based on what other teams who were better off than Pompey got...

Harry I think you have spoken for a lot of our club's fans and agree that I can remember the pain I felt when we nearly folded.

Pompey seem to have treated their fans far worse in many ways by leading them to glory with other peoples money and then tumbling so quickly into the mess which they seem incapable of escaping. They have had so many false dawns over the last few years that they must dread at times picking up the local paper in case of what they saw written.

I remember when as fans we tried to help the Cherries with their bucket collections etc and how they react now if this is ever aired by the few who scorn. Could there be a way for us either as a club, or as fans to help this situation? How would a lot of the Pompey faithful react if we were able to help in a large enough way, and would our mouthy few ever let them forget?

Trouble is they need 30 mil to clear the debts and to get rid of chanrai etc. That's a hell of alot.

SCF4BAG - maybe this will help. There are a number of Saints posters on the News website today - some supportive, most though enjoying Pompey fans discomfort - this comment really stuck with me though.

We would only be served a point deduction if the FL decided that CSI were running the business of PFC 2010 ltd on a daily basis (like your parent company when saints were deducted).........which they were not. I am lead to believe that the FL brought in a financial expert to check the backing and were satisfied...........

I'm assuming you mean "points deduction" rather than an incitement to rebellion ?

Or maybe a rebellion is just what we need right now <laugh>

If they revolted or boycotted a match then they would go busy within a day...

Then again 10,000 people are regular fans.
The other 12,000 are yobs that turned up to abuse every Saints player taking a throw in or a corner, for the NATION to see!

I don't want P*mpey to go bust to keep the rivalry going, but I couldn't give **** what happens to them. They can be busted down to the Blue square South for all I care or deducted 30 points. Just as long as some action is taken against them! It's been long over due, there is only so much they can get away with!

And what ever happend to the independent "root and branch" investigation into the previous financial irregularities and suspicions of money laundering and other illegal activities at PFC?

Yet more hot air from the administrator.
