The Samaritans have been working overtime on Merseyside, this evening <laugh>

Discussion in 'Tottenham Hotspur' started by Hoddle is a god, Jan 22, 2012.

  1. Following the Mickeys’ 3-1 thumping at the hands of (before today) bottom-of-the-table Bolton, I took a delicious stroll among the Mickey Mousers, simply to revel in their misery, and to look upon that false-god, Delusion, brought to his knees. Those other gods, Shame and Dejection, generally seemed to hold sway, much to my merriment.

I couldn't be bothered to post the names of all the various posters, but they are, apart from the one exception (who is obvious from his contribution), all 'Pool supporters.

First, the optimism before kick-off, sprinkled liberally with the usual trowel-load of arrogance and delusion. These comments are charged with vast comedic value by the power of retrospect.

    <doh>

Oh, you have every right to be, pal. You’re now wholly reliant on a donkey to score you goals! <laugh>

    <yikes>

Then, at the conclusion of the first half…

Then comes the despair, after they get utterly thumped, 3-1

By Jove! I think he's cracked it! I'm going to nickname this Mouser "Lightening"!

A passing stranger tries to ease Mickey anguish by distracting the Mousers with a question…

The answer to your question, however, is very, very simple. It’s because the average ‘Pool fan is fcuking stupid! Years of delusion has affected his brain, so that he has come to believe in the utter bollocks he’s been spouting for the past couple of decades. So, please, do not spend another second fretting over the matter.

We know! It’s going to be a fcuking hoot, pal <ok>

That’s the best I’ve collected so far, but I am certain more gems will follow in the days ahead, as the Mickey Mousers debate among themselves the relative and competing merits of either sacking their legend and hero, Queen Kenny, or selling donkey Carroll back to the Toon on the cheap, in order to get the waste-of-space off their wage bill.

    Totally Dalglish's fault, for me.

The midfield was just wrong. Completely unbalanced.
No holding midfielder and two fairly slow, more creative midfielders in the middle, with two wingers that don't really track back?
Far too much pressure for the defence to deal with.

Should've picked Agger as a defensive midfielder, restored Carragher to the defence or even picked Coates and pushed Gerrard into his natural position.
Kuyt down the right, Downing on the left and use Bellamy and Henderson from the bench.

It looks like even the Mickeys have finally realised that the "King" has no clothes

Does anyone else find it odd that Coates is pronounced Co-atez?

It puts our own comb over hero in a completely new light. Ralphie Co-atez?

Maybe they need a new KK to lead the team to not very much. Kim Kardashian perchance?

Drunk and delusional Scouser on the BBC live feed thinks that Glen Johnson's better than Kyle Walker and Micah Richards.
    That's actually beyond laughable.

****ing hell HIAG, still obsessing over us even though we are so ****ing dire. ;)

    Missed this gem from me...

Not all us Mousers are deluded. <ok>

That is deluded considering many rate Kelly higher than Johnson. At this stage Richards deserves to be the RB for Euro 12 and Kyle Walker would make great back up. If Postman Pat picks Smalling or Johnson then he can **** off.

  10. Oh, come on! You guys are comedy gold-dust, at the moment <laugh>

I can't take the piss out of the Gooners, because most of those on here have already given up all hope of doing anything this season and are merely waiting for Wenger to get sacked (which will probably happen very shortly after RVP leaves for £ity). But you guys genuinely still believe that you are a force in English football, and that Queen Kenny is going to save you. The majority of Mousers have steadfastly refused to accept that Kenny will slowly but surely bring you to your knees, but continue to believe that he is your saviour. Each indifferent performance and each "unexpected" defeat brings with it so much anguish! It's all utterly hilarious!

I'm no more obsessed with LFC and you Mousers than I am with You've Been Framed. It's all entertainment, at the end of the day <ok>

You have been banned from our forum...which suggests that you log out to view the LFC board, probably copy n paste said comments into a word document then spend a good length of time to make a thread like this. I know who I'm laughing at. <laugh>

  12. Would there be any other way to do it, smart arse?

    No, I thought not.

You say that, but it isn't true. Everyone knows that you are resorting to personal insults because your team is so utterly abysmal and you have a pensioner for a manager and a one-legged donkey as your main striker.

And even if it was true, you're the only one laughing at me, because everyone else is laughing at 'Pool <ok>

'Arry is 4 years older than Dalglish so pots and kettles there. Also a one legged donkey works far harder in is far more useful than Andy Carroll. <ok>

Is HIAG Spurs' very own KPR?

Maybe on a worse level, KPR had it in for Utd. HIAG has it in for Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

HIAG I'd love to have seen what you were like when Juande Ramos was your manager <laugh>

According to Chris Coleman, Sergio Ramos was our manager before Redknapp.
