Don't really have the time to do a whole match thread, so just put any discussion in here. Lallana out injured, damaged groin. Chaplow and Fonte expected out too. Lambert serves last match of suspension, Falque set to start. Leicester have signed Nathan Delfounso on loan from Villa, and also have plenty of injuries and missing players. Bamba and Pantsil at African Cup of Nations, Andy King has an Achilles problem. Live on SS1 at 7.45pm.
Not my info, just passing it on. From someone who has rarely got team news wrong, if ever. See S-Web for more.
Some how the bookies seem to think that Forte scoring is more likely than Nugent or Beckford - or any Leicester player in fact.
Bit worried about Delfounso, very useful player at this level I reckon. Is it actually confirmed that there's no Lallana ? If there isn't same team as Forest but Falque in Adam's place.
Would be a huge blow if we are without Lallana. Not just because of the obvious, and not just because we are already missing Chaplow and Lambert, but also because he brings out the best in Connolly. The Irishman isn't the same without Lallana imo - and visa versa. If Lallana, Chaplow, Fonte and Richardson are all injured, and Lee - as looks very likely - wont yet be available, then I'd agree with Saint_Ford with Falque for Lallana as the only change.
Unfortunate if Lallana is out, looking forward to seeing Falque though and we have Holmes, De Ridder and even Harding who has been playing well filling into midfield. It's going to be a really tough match, I hope we can prove we aren't a one or two man team as above mentioned. 2-1 Saints, Guly will score.
Hmmm, I forgot about De Ridder. Maybe I'd start him them, instead of Falque, if Lallana misses out. After all, De Ridder was very good in each of our last two home games. But then again, neither he nor Cork are left-midfielders.
Massively agree with this, their link-up play together is absolutely fantastic, and an ingredient to both of theirs (and the entire teams for that matter) form at the very beginning of season, one of the reasons for me that Lallana went off boil a bit when Connoly got injured.
if Lallana is out, and assuming we have no other injuries/returnees i would go with - i am also going for a prediction of 2-2 Davis Harding Martin Hooiveld Fox Cork Hammond Schneiderlin De Ridder Guly Connolly Subs: Bart, Butterfield, Falque, Holmes, Reeves
If so, go to this line-up: Davis Richardson-Martin-Hooiveld-Fox Cork-Schneiderlin-Hammond-Falque Do Prado-Connolly
I'd go with this line-up as well but with Harding in for Richardson if he is still not match-fit. Keep De Ridder on the bench to bring him on as an impact player towards the end of the game. All of this is assuming Lallana is actually out however.
Davis Harding, Martin, Hooiveld, Fox Cork, Schneiderlin, Hammond, Falque Guly, Connolly That lineup doesn't fill me with confidence, work your magic Nigel!
Guly do Prado was utter ****e in the reverse fixture. As a Leicester fan i'm worried about Connoly (who is bound to score against us) and the new guy Falque who I have heard nothing but praise for. This is a big game for us and I it's a good chance for us to show what we're made of against a side without Forte, Lallana and Lambert Should be a great game, hopefully as good as the game in August (the same scoreline wouldn't be bad either Good luck after tomorrow, really hope you don't let West Ham win the league
I hope we have Richardson back - He was training in the OS videos on Friday so you never know. Don't have a mjor problem with Harding at right back, but he was only good against Forest because their left back was clueless and kept showing him inside onto his left foot!
