PLAYER OF THE WEEKEND - AKOS BUZSAKY A real tough call with Robbie Keane in real contention with his brace at former club Wolves. But QPR's Hungarian ace got the nod for his showing at Loftus Road. He scored a brilliant free-kick but he was everywhere on only his fourth start of the season. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11096/7448823/Best-of-Weekend? Well deserved after a wonderful performance from our White Pele. Big hand of applause from all of us
I've had some of that pie in the past myself, come to think about it's not so bad when you get used to it
Pass us a slice. Had my car ready to give him a lift up the road just the other day... but always good to celebrate a 'new' signing!!
Great for Buz! Hope it gives him confidence, and that he keeps working on his game. It was a great afternoon for us all yesterday! Only thing that surprised me is why Tommy Smith's goal isn't even mentioned by Skyfor goal of the weekend!
Glad for him. Class is perm and all that. Boy did we need him to come good. Just another pointer for me that nw had lost the plot.
Its easy with the benefit of hindsight but if warnock had not frozen him out, perhaps a few free kicks and goals from 30 yards would have given us the points and saved his job in the first half of the season. Hopefully Hughes will use him in our remaining games save 5million in transfer fees and use it on a striker who knows how to score.
There's a Buzz around Loftus Road now................I know awful pun but a ray of sunshine right now.
Fantastic for Buzz -delighted for the guy, we all knew he had talent - now he needs to achieve consistency and he'll give us a massive boost in our aim to remain in the Prem
Do you think Pukka will start selling Buzz Humble Pies? Not being over supportive of late I think I'll take a couple!
Typical, putting in Bale from a losing Spurs side ahead of Buz from a winning QPR side. Crooks clearly isn't showing the impartiality of which the BBC boast so strongly. I'd have been tempted, on that basis, to put Al Habsi in goal instead of Foster. Saved a penalty, and didn't have a chance against the goals, but pulled off some great saves, against Mackie and Buz in the first half, and Buz again in the second when he nearly scored the goal of the season.
West London...I have Krul and Simpson in my fantasy football team....didn't see a defeat like that against Fulham!!!
