Just a few words from a Cardiff supporter. Super show so far this season guys. For me, you addicks were easily the best bunch of the London club posters on the old Beeb 606, and would love to get the chat with you lot going again on here. Unfortunately, we really don't want to be around when you call. BTW. Hudson has come good (never thought he would to be honest), the guy is a true professional and club captain. Severe doubts when he came to us, I thought we'd paid far too much for him, but now glad he did. Him and Ben Turner who we stole from Coventry for less than Huds are probably one of the pick of the CB pairings in the Champ right now. If we do bottle it again - look forward to seeing you lot at the CCS next season.
Your more than welcome on our board anytime I was in Cardiff for your play off defeat to reading- never thought Hudson would play for you again. He had some raw ability with us, but never had the brains IMO. Maybe as he gets older his experience is beginning to really benefit him?
Hudson had a lot of baggage with us ........................... PARDEW and former Croydon Club for a start! Always a crack with the Bluebirds
If you do go up, please pay us the Hudson bonus. Was it £1m? Considering what Powell did with the Jenkinson money, it'll be useful. Never been to Cardiff. I imagine it's a lot like Derby.
They have men who chase an egg around, on a field with a roof on it, in Cardiff IA Just thought you would like to know
As it was a deal negotiated by the old regime, we only get the money if he earns 50 England caps and gets an OBE...
Used to visit Cardiff regularly with work, love the place. There's parts of it you wouldn't want to go after dark (or in daylight, come to think of it) but you could say that about any large town or city. a2c was very fond of it as well, as I remember...
Cardiff city centre makes for a very good night. Especially the ''gentlemans club'' near Pavillion clothing.
From your own website fellas: - "The Bluebirds have paid an initial £1.075m for Hudson and will shell out a further £250,000 in the event of promotion to the Premier League. The deal also contains a sell-on clause." As far as Cardiff as a city is concerned, if you haven't been there for the last 15 years or so, you won't recognise the place. The old Tigerbay area has gone (sad for many who earned their living there ), and the Bay area is an awesome place to live, visit, and really enjoy yourself without having to get your underpants off.
Sounds like a very strange place. I thought most places have egg and spoon races outdoors - less cleanup needed that way. Hey Tweakes, are you saying Derby isn't nice? Thanks Oldsparkey. Still would be handy.
As we're likely to be visiting there next season IA, I think now would be a very good time for me to observe a discrete silence...
Just read a fact on CAFC's twitter that we have 10 more points than Brighton did last season, after the same amount of games. Wow. But it's all been luck.
Love it! A lot of people are very sniffy about places being 'gentrified', but you're right, they've done a beautiful job in the Bay area. Good news about the add-ons, but it strikes me that if you don't get promotion soon, inflation's going to make that 250 large worth about £1.50. Get in there!
I'm saying we're going to lose at home to Swindon and away to Gillingham in the run-in. And then go up thanks to extremely dodgy goalkeeping in the last match against Bristol Rovers. But it's not all bad. We'll beat Man Utd in the cup and bring Spurs to a replay.
