Given that 2 out of Udd,Blunts,Wendy and MKDONALDS are not going to be going up - are there any players you have seen that have impressed you enough that you would try to poach from them for next season ?

Certainly based on the last 2 games, Quinn and Marshall spring to mind (i know Marshall is with Stoke anyway)
Think that Jordan Rhodes might well be out of our budget !

If budget is no option then I'd take Rhodes, seeing he'll hopefully be with another club before the end of the month / price he definitely would be out of the question (though i suspect Brighton didnt expect to sign Mackail-Smith in the summer)

Back to reality though I'd have to agree about Quinn and Marshall, the latter is @ Stoke now but by the summer he could get fed up and want first team football

Marshall is out of contract at the end of the season - so you would like to think we'll go in for him (thought I expect a flurry of clubs will be too). Another player from League One is that Diagourga at Brentford.. he never fails to impress whenever I have seen him (which isn't a lot to be fair).

From MK Dons I'd take Gleeson.
'Udders - Rhodes (entirely unrealistic though) and possibly Danny Ward.
Sheff Weds - Miguel Llera <cheers>.
Sheff United - Evans and Quinn.

Who from The Braindead could we take? - even if only to annoy them and show them we're much the bigger club.

Smithies from Huddersfield would be nice... Wouldn't say no to Ched Evans, if we were to sell BWP Evans would be the replacement imo

Wouldnt touch Smithies... He's very injury prone dont think he's made an appearance for Huddersfield for a while now, Danny Ward would be a great signing (was awesome against us in the PlayOffs for Swindon)

What about Matt Ritche from Swindon?

If you mean in this window, Ben Marshall. He may be available for sale and possibly within our budget (although I haven't got a clue what our budget is!) and we know he can deliver the goods in this division. He plays in the one outfield position where we could conceivably improve the side without spending a fortune (and give us the option of prolonging Jackson's career by moving him inside).

If you mean in the summer, to strengthen for the Championship, I would think there are going to be droves of players (including some very good ones) looking for contracts as most clubs look to reduce their overheads. Too many to pick and choose now.

Can't remember a season when I've seen so few players from other teams that have impressed me - I think that's because the standard among our squad is so uniformly high.

The only two that immediately spring to mind are Diagouraga and Bean from Brentford. this would have the added delight of p*ssing Rossler off a treat...:emoticon-0102-bigsm
