You can get used to just listening w_y although to see it "live" is always better. We are lucky to have Jon Marks. <ok>

Glad you got your win! :)

I love away days, though losing 3-0 was a bit harsh! I wouldn't worry too much about Friday unless you're playing your D team! ;)

i'd say he's an U-18, but you might just get away with it if he doesn't look too old!

Blimey! lol..no wonder you were a little on the tipsy side ;) ...glad you found the tortoise!

i hate listening! I get way too nervous. JM is brilliant (and lovely ;) ) but i much prefer being there, though i have to say, a loss is easier to take from the radio than live...

Evening all. Its been a good day, apart from the rain and the result. I see it has been very quiet in here today.

me thinks the site has been having troubles this evening. haven't been able to post anything and sometimes it wouldn't even load the page.

Not surprised by the result today. and not too depressed by it... but that might be down to raiding the alcohol cupboard!

I think i have sussed why we've been losing! I always predict a win..so...from now on, i'm going to predict that we will lose, and that way, hopefully, we can turn things around!

For the site crashing, I blame the Geordies. As soon as there's anything controversial that happens to their club, 54647369736736 guests appear to read what's happening, one of the downsides of having this forum linked to various sports news websites. Their 5-2 thrashing was pretty funny though <laugh>

For the first time ever I'm gutted that the BBC won't be showing adverts during a sporting event (the Super Bowl).

H, WE HAVE TO KEEP THE FAITH!!!! ;) Not happy with the way we played, the result etc etc but we must go into games thinking we are going to get a positive result fans and players alike. If the players especially don't think they are going to get something from the game, then that will show in their performance and we will get nothing from every game:(

    Morning all :)

    Love that, thanks NNW!

i know Al, it wasn't so bad that it was depressing yesterday, i do think the result flattered them, but we dropped off, and that's worrying...and also not being able to find the net on the few chances we get is also worrying...still, onward and upward, eh? :)

Thanks for the caramel latte Ak :). Just over freezing doesn't sound so good to me lol...

Morning all - how can people even be thinking about calling for Colin to become our manager? The day he becomes our manager will be the last day I set foot in The Vic! I won't nothing to do with that cheating scum-bag!

Morning all, odd to viist on Sunday but the wife is out and I'm halfway through the list of chores.

I put a thing in the match thread about Colin as a joke not thinking anyone would rise to it, but hey-ho.

Have a flu jab if you're going away, the nurse said, best to be safe. So I did and have felt groggy and had a very sore arm for two days now. Last time I'll take her advice...
