Nice e/w bet on the McCain horse Record Breaker in the 1.40 - I backed him e/w on his hurdling debut where he finished a fair 3rd to his potentially very decent stablemate Absinthe. He ran well for a long way that day before just tiring a little but I'm sure he will have learnt plents and goes here with a live chance. Stable also in great nick <ok>

I don't like to moan about jockeys but I've just been done by that prat on Dazzling Susie. I give up!

Well done on the winner Stick. Glad we got you onto the right one. Ceol Rua. Job done. Off to the paddock I would expect.

  7. In the 2.10 Towecester KINKEEL 4/1 returns to a track that he generally performs well at and when he has finished has only been out of theplaces 3 times in 16 runs. He won this race last year off a 2lb lower mark, and whilst getting on a bit now has been knocking at the door recently and should be there or there abouts.

In the 2.20 Kempton TROJAN ROCKET 9/2 looked the winner LTO but found trouble and with useful 5lb claimer Raul Da Silva should be in the shake up again today.

2.30 Market Rasen JUKEBOX MELODY 5/1 was penalised for a running on here when 2nd LTO and the stable are starting to hit a bit of form .

2.40 Towcester KILMACOWEN 7/2 has plent of scope and was running on LTO when just failing to get up when beaten bu 3/4l, is upped in distance today and if he can carry that form over to handicap company today he could make a mockery of the field.

3.25 Kempton is the type of race that I generally do ok in, there are a number of nice priced outsiders; however, I am going to plump for CAVALRY GUARD 33/1 EW. Nore than capable to win this on his day and the stable have a decent strike rate with their runners so far this year with 2 winners from 4 runners and is the only runner here today. Once again the booking of the very promising Raul Da Silva takes off a further 5lb and that alone could be enough to put him in the frame here today. In 3.55 there are a couple that could run decent races off a nice mark at a decent price they are VISIONS OF JOHANNA 18/1 and HERSCHEL 22/1. In the 4.25 HAZARD COUNTY 5/2 is the stand out bet for me today, in a small field and decent pace likely to be set by Wheres Rilley he should be good enough to pick it up and go on turning for home. Finally in the 4.55 DIVISNKY 8/1 is the stand out EW bet today and i wouldnt be surprised if he won this going away today.

4.05 SWISS GUARD 33/1 is a tentative EW selection but well worth a chance at this price if he returns to his old form certainly the going and distance will be to his liking.

Willie Mullins bumper runner today, CHAMPAGNE FEVER, has been heavily backed (16-1 to 12-1) for the Festival Bumper today.
Looks like it is expected to sloosh up today and then be possibly halved in price!

Noble Prince seems more and more like one of those horses who always finds 1 too good - a bit like forpadydeplasterer
