Dave Bennett was one of the best players I have seen play for us, Gordon Owen wasn't bad either; neither stayed long enough to be proper greats
Scott young, Jason Perry, Phil stant, Nathan Blake. None of them would make it into our side now but love em all
Nathan Blake. Very skilful but exceptionally lazy. MM would never pick a player like that. Best players I've seen but none great are: Toshack, Brian Clark, Mike England, the Bennet Brothers, Ian Gibson, John Buchanan (just for his shot), Robin Friday, Graham Moore, Derek Tapscott, Greg Farrel (for one game only the best I've ever seen - older members will remember) Mark Delaney, Phil Dwyer, Adrian Alston, Alan Warboys, Tony Evans and John Charles (past his best when he played for us). As for Don Murray - he could only kick the ball and opposition players with his toe - so its a big no from me. Sorry.
