Will be Kenny, not so bad, Carroll, at the time, one of the hottest prospects in the game, Redknapp sniffing all over him too. Downing Villa player of the year etc.

Lucas had to go through all this scape goat business in the begining too, same as Skrtel. They are not as bad as people make out IMO.

No I don't. But your the one presenting invalid arguments, not me, so you are welcome here of course, but before you give insults to me, get your facts right.

I see what you're saying - but come on! Downing was never good enough though. I have never rated him and true to form he's been ****. Fine when the pressure is off him. We weren't to know Carroll would be total ****e - but what we could of done is manage our risk properly - i.e don't spend too much on a gamble. We failed their too.

Lucas struggled at first - but how much did he cost us? Same with Skrtel.

Well look at United: De Gea 17 mil? Young 20 mil? Hardly set the world a light. Then look at Suarez and Enrique. It happens to thew best.

    with hindsight.......

Yeah they have their problems, but I don't think we can brush ours under the carpet based on cost and time.

Young is a good player. De Gea was a poor investment as it stands.

Yea, you can't brush it under the carpet. We have two options. a)Stick with them and hope they come good, at worst they will be decent squad players. b)Sell them / send them on loan like aquaman

They are ours at the moment, so I will support them until that changes. =)

    Yeah true.

I'd wait till the end of the season. See if they react to Kenny's blast at them.

Thanks for the moral support. The guy was just having a little wum, and I bit, should no better but feeling a bit wound up by yesterdays performance still. His best comment was "I like football, and watch it, so unlike liverpool fans I knew they where not good enough" (refering to Downing and Carroll) - yea like we don't watch football.

    and

"Everyone knew from the start Kenny was the wrong man" - muppet

At least we don't flog our best players to Barca every year, RVP will be next and then they will be f*cked!

Our biggest problem is our inconsistency. I remeber Ray Wilkins saying of Mourinho, that he emphathised the importance of winning against the bottom ten, home and away, and then see what you can take from the rest. We need to develop a more ruthless streak, and that need to comes from the manager. His mantra so far has been he is proud of the players etc, but the reality is we are seventh, so what is he proud of. He has stuck up for them for long enough and it's time for them to repay him.

I am pleased he came out with the comments he made after the game. I was worried he did not have that side to his personality.

I hope a few teacups got smashed up, he looked pretty pisse* on the touchline. They really deserve a kick up the Ar*e after that showing.

    LETS FACE FACTS....

WHY DID BOLTON OVER RUN US?

ADAM... NOT EXPENSIVE CARROLL OR EXPENSIVE DOWNING WHO WAS ON THE BENCH!

CHARLIE ADAM CANNOT PLAY WITH GERRARD PERIOD.

got that? good. go watch tta game, the midfield was no existant. no legs whatsoever.

Kenny is right to have a go and to be frank i expect to see adam on the bench in the next two games. Gerrard is little better but at least he has an excuse of a year out to talk about the lack of legs. adam is a liability.

Lol, venting. I think they may have been a party on Friday, I swear to god a few of them looked hungover. Even Enrique had a bad game, Mr consistency himself.

I think I have said enough in the past to suggest Adam should not be near the Liverpool bench. Shouldn't even be anywhere near a Liverpool shirt.

What is there to be positive about at the present though. We all know that the future is looking good, nothing wrong with being pissed off with the few that are not performing for the shirt at the present time. <ok>

So he bought the players, who are clearly NOT the best players in the World ( or England even ) and is it not his job to extract the effort and commitment from them ?

How is this not his fault?

Seems it's not only racism that gets excused by the tribal blinkers
