If we want to play a 4-4-2 then yes, Lovenkrands as he's a more natural striker but if we want a left winger I'd give Obertan a shot, he looks quite dangerous cutting inside.

You don't have to play a quicker CB every time you play someone with pace, you just don't play a high line!!

Willo, Saylor and Colo have played against quicker players and can all hold their own as long as we don't resort to a high line!

If we play Perch we'll have no way to counter their height, and then what?

Sorry mate but you've totally just not thought about this at all.

Aye, this. With HBA and Obertan cutting inside, and Santon and Simpson bombing down the wing, we will have lots of options. We should definitely stick with the 433/4231, Jonas looks twice the player when playing through the middle.

We can not move Jonas from that free role, he is sensational when he plays there with Benny on the right of him!

Didnt someone say that Jonas used to play there in Spain? Or has he always been a winger? Either way his workrate makes him perfect for that central position.

Pretty sure he's always been a winger. But he really does suit that role for us, he shouldn't be moved.

Yeah he did, he's played RB, LB, CM, LW, RW, In the hole and up front throughout his career.

This 100%. Jonas has looked impressive in the free role, and Best is the only worthwhile option we have up front at the moment.
