This is a comment from the guy who pays for the site himself The attack started at exactly 6:00pm and was aimed at stopping the site working ......possibly one of the other 606 replacement sites but who knows? If we move all that will happen is that a hard working guy who has paid for this site out of his own money will have lost 2 years of hard work and a lot of money (I have never asked him why he started the site but he has never given me the impression that it is for profit) so let's stick with him please guys. AllHell
Absolute disgrace. The guy has done a wonderful job, very much a selfless job with the money put in and even the improvements made on the original 606.

No Oz mate, denial of service is designed to make access to the site so busy that nobody can get on, that's all

He's still (hyper)active on the general chat side of the board. I checked against his member posts the other day. Is he banned from here permanently or has he just got the hump?
I haven't yet lifted the ban. I'd like to, but I intended to make the ban longer than the last one (7 days) to see how it would affect postings as several members had been vocal (pm or public) about possibly leaving or not enjoying the site as much. Feedback would be interesting- as long as there aren't any insults. JA's a good man.
Acworth seems like a decent bloke. Perhaps he's a bit annoying on here, but I've noticed that when he posts a lot of threads everybody complains, but whenever he's not posting much/banned, then it seems a bit dead on here. Today is the busiest I've seen it on here for a while, since Acworth has been banned there has been about one active thread per day. In addition to that, he's also good for a laugh
I am sympathetic to the guy's obviously fragile mental state but I have to say that I'm very relaxed about him not posting.
I basically find him quite entertaining in a bonkers sort of way. Obviously a decent bloke with heart in right place but maybe a marble or two short of a full bag? I kinda miss him on here but there were times like over Christmas when it just got way to much and he dominated the board with drivel. It's a hard one I guess. I'd like him back but not at the expense of those normal posters who say they would go if he did.
If either yourself Super, or else AllHell have the time, perhaps one of you may be able to show him how to edit his posts (with pictures etc)? That way he doesn't post double/triple posts all the time. May sound a bit patronising or naive but if it helps then it will save a lot of people being annoyed I guess.
