can we just stop talking about Leicester full stop, I'm sick of hearing about them.. they're in for so and so, they're buying so and so.. they operate in a different world to the rest of the npc.
There might be a few Pompey players going cheap soon, HMRC have filed another winding-up order against them for unpaid tax.
Leicester are apparently completing the signing of a Premier League striker in time for him to play against Saints tomorrow night. The Foxes were getting excited, until the word got round that it's probably Nathan Delfouneso. I don't think he's a bad player, but 4 goals in 36 games is a pretty ****e strike rate.
He's a cock and he fell out of favour there, he's back in the team now, but he's still only played eight games this season.
I'm only basing my opinion on what I have seen of him! To be fair I haven't seen him play this season so he may have gone downhill
He was very good against us a couple of times, both at Pompey and Stoke, but he's been in a bit of bother recently, he headbutted some bloke in a Southampton bar.
Wouldn't mind Greg Halford as he always scores against us. Not sure about the rest though even on a Free transfer. Someone on twitter sunday said that NP was going after Gerrard this week ? Has anyone told AG about this ?
Greg Halfords ****! He just always scores against us sadly. The goals he gets against us are probably the only goals in his entire career
He may not be your cup of tea PB but he aint sh it. Have to laugh at Lesta wanting Delfounso. How NP has fallen with his targets thesedays. Reading rumoured to be making a bid for Billy Sharp ? No chance on that one. David Weir(ex.Rangers) is wanted by Bristol City and Wigan set to offer 2 million fior Nicky Maynard. Desperation is now rife. Lol. imo.
How under-whelming that will be for the Foxes fans. Looking forward to tonights game. Should be a good laugh at the very least.
I'm afraid your only allowed to post on the cross board banter thread, your moderator reckons were not allowed to post on each others boards any more. It makes him piss his pants a bit.
Read Crawley accepted a bid of nearly a million for Tyrone Barnett from Blackpool but he's decided not to go. He looks a right handful and would be a decent Plan B option for us. The problem is that nearly a million quid for a 26 year old 4th division striker with no pedigree at higher level is far too high. Similarly, they are talking over a million for Jamie Vardy at Fleetwood, who's 25. It's not Fleetwood or Crawley's fault that they are financially secure but it's mental money. Barnett = £1m Vardy = £1.5m Sharp = £3m Rhodes = £4m I can see why Barmby isn't in a rush to spend money. There's no value at all.
