In my opinion Buz is easily the best player in our squad when played in central midfield. The reason he hasnt shown it is simple. Firstly NW never really rated him and only let him have 20 mins here and there as sub secondly and when hes played in the few games hes played he been left out on the wing which is not his position. The fact is is hes needs games under his belt and will get better and better. He would be the first name on my team sheet every week apart from perhaps Paddy in goal. I do hope hes not back on the bench next week and the week after as i think he is one of the keys in us staying up.

Buz is the best player in our squad and needs games under his belt, which he never got under NW apart from the odd 20 mins here and there or if he did play was put out wide on the wing which his not position. It was all there to see today. Im hoping he wont be back as sub in the coming weeks as he would be the first name on the team sheet apart from Paddy in goal.

I've only seen the hiighlights on Football First, but it looks like Barton rates Buz. He seemed very happy to pass to him, especially in shooting positions. Hopefully we will get a run in the team in Faurlin absence.

Under Warnock last season there was no place for him in the team as Derry and Faurlin were playing so well, but he did start matches early in the season when Faurlin was injured. He is not a winger, let's not go down the route, he needs to play centrally to be effective.

Can he have his number 10 shirt back please......

Buz is quality, 3 years ago he was our best player by a mile, first name on the team sheet, fair play to him for sticking it out and taking his opportunity.

I will admit to being one of those that had written Buz off. However 1 swallow doesn't make a spring so steady on FFS. He has shown what he is capable of and I'll be happy to eat my words if he continues to do the business on a consistent basis. He will have a run in the team now so he has a great opportunity to shine in the Premiership.

And for staying with QPR when others have come asking!

Also, about the free kick... don't forget there were two good free kicks in the game and another great one from the last match, so he's been knocking on that door for a little while. He must have been specifically practicing.

Buzz have now earned his place in the final 25 players. He was very good yesterday but he has to maintain samekind of form in next matches cos Adel is coming back. Buszacky is miles ahead Adel in deadball situations but everything else Adel does better. Remind you Adels bad luck this season cos he has struck at least four times against post. However if Buszacky continues like yesterday he will be crucial for us. Can we play Adel and Buz together?

I'll hold my hand up and admit that I wouldn't have started with Buz because I thought he looked very heavy against MK Dons and I was concerned about his fitness. But I'm genuinely delighted to be proved wrong, the guy was an absolute revelation!

As the author of the 'Buz off' thread I am happy to eat humble pie, this was rolling the clock back three years to when he was the playmaker who made things happen. The most annoying thing has been the fact we know how good he was/is yet for three years any appearances have been pretty disappointing and he has been a shadow of his former self. When a player gets the sort of injury he has they often never recover their former levels of performance, the one big question is can he now keep it up, if he can maintain that level of performance it will be like signing a new player...

Let's get things into perspective, Hall had a great game too.

He needs to be producing this form consistently in the premier league, and now he'll be getting a chance to do so.

At the moment him and Hughes' formation for us are still unknown quantities - his challenge will be to keep this up.

To avoid being called a negative trip buster, I'll finish by saying his set pieces yesterday were worth his place alone. Really hope he can fill Ale's boots and on the evidence yesterday - he can

Anyone without rose tinted specs would've had doubts about Buz's ability to recover former glories - especially now we're playing in the top flight. However, yesterday he confirmed what his performance against MKD had suggested. The boy's still got it - and his hunger to both prove his worth at this level and seal his place in the squad / first team for the remainder of the season should ensure consistency.

So why the sudden change in fortunes? Two things for me.

The first, sorting out his own issues in getting onside with current management. Two experienced managers can't have been wrong. Both Magilton and Warnock clearly had their doubts about his conduct / attitude or things would've been different. Was this because Buz was presenting as arrogant on the basis of his former reputation and putting the new decision-makers off in the process? It would appear the Hughes team has won both his attention and respect. More humility and preparedness to graft.

The second relates to a slight but significant positional change and the willingness to get stuck in and do a much needed job. Prior to his injury he was an attack-minded, creative CM. Now he's looking more of a disciplined holding mid with creative potential who's increasingly likely to get forward when the opportunity arises. Two birds, one stone. Can't be bad can it?!

If this really is the new Buz, all hail. I'm buzzing too as I'm sure we ALL are.

MH recognised the need to have a dead ball specialist like buz in the side and he delivered. That's already a huge improvement on NW.

I can see Buz and Barton playing in central midfield as yesterday, and Adel up front with HH or a new striker.

I was critical of him after Newcastle and said he would not regain his form. How wrong I was. And what a difference a goal can make to a player's confidence. He was immense after that free kick went in and controlled the midfield from front to back even making a couple of good tackles (I don't think we have ever seen that from him before). Welcome back Akos!
