True & that Joe Allen tries to be a bully but he's too small the little prick. That said Swans deserved a draw.

    Why, that's magnanimous of you.

Allen was pushed first. Fact. No bullying involved. You are a physical side with limited talent but fair play O'Neill is a canny manager. Not a great coach, but a good manager. Given a footballing lesson but you still get the result.

Can't applaud that as we feel justifiably hard done by.

Looks a canny player to me but it was late in the game. Didn't have too much time to make an impact tbh mate.

We deserved a draw last week but that's football.

This is very much MON football, absorb the pressure then hit teams quickly on the break. I think we will see a lot of teams having a lot of possession against us without them really threatening.

Well done sunderland 3 points and 2 quality goals without really playing well and your neighbours both got whooped. it was far from thuggery in my eyes it is a contact sport after all, good luck with the rest of the season and hoping to see you again next year

that wasnt a bad performance, we controlled most of it but despite all our possession we cant expect to get something out of games if we dont sharpen up in the final third. we didnt bring Graham into the game and didnt create not nearly enough considering all the ball we had around the box. the positives for me were the loanees but I agree that Sinclair needs a break to sort himself out, for too many mediocre games considering how good he can be. some people are saying that Sunderland were too physical - i didnt see that - they had 2 moments of quality that made the difference.
not too down about today cos in general our forward play has been more positive, just need to find it again on Tuesday.

Pi55 Poor Sunderland side? I think you need to get real and stop listening to the nonsence which was being spouted about your lot last week. Most Sunderland fans would tell you that we have always been realists and are currently building a strong side which will compete in this league and move onwards and upwards. With our current manager we have the leader to show us the way tactically. You need to learn to walk before you can run the same was said about Blackpool last season but look what happened to them.

Hmmm....then he must be upset because you didn't break that much.

Derry: Conceding 67% at home and being played off the park is hardly something that MON will be happy with even if you are. Like I said, you're an established Prem side and were lucky enough to get the result. Good for you. But don't expect us to be complimentary in those circumstances.

And no, I don't think you're that good. Sorry. I know that makes me sound bitter and I am. No neutral observer would say you deserved anything today. 2 shots on target, 2 goals. Like I said, Prem sides that have been around a bit can do that and we need to learn from it.

You're right about last week's plaudits going to some fans' heads though.

Sunderland deserved 3pts we were crap 1st half, they are a very workman like team, with a very skillful player up front.

Thing is most swans fans kind of knew the result would be like this today, its just the swansea way for some reason!!
Fair play to Sunderland didnt do alot in the game but 2 pieces of skill were enough for the three points so therefore its deserved :)

i thought swansea deserved nothing from that game, they only had the ball because we let them keep it and thought we never got out of 3rd gear untill late on very happy with them 3 points.

"they only had the ball because we let them keep it"

    <doh> and double <doh>

Can't agree with some of my fellow Jacks. We were hard done by imo. When the home fans are screaming at their team because they can't get hold of the ball you know you're doing something right.

Sinclair was a big disappointment for me but fair play to Bardsley. <applause>

oh and to top off the thuggery aspect, our player in the one who was kicked in the face and reported just now has a 'serious' eye injury.
Good luck for the season anyhoo

If you could have got the final ball through to Sinclair you'd have definitely got something imho.

It's all about opinions lad and you are entitled to yours, as I'm also of the opinion you are no better than Blackpool were and once teams find out all about you they play a system to counter you, this league is unforgiving as I'm sure we'll play much better than today and lose.

And what was the score at the Liberty again? A game which we thought we played poorly in as we did today, oh by the way I'll send your thoughts on to Bendtner should I?
