Great performance, but question is where has he been hiding for years?

Exactly haven't seen much of him since Magilton left, hopefully MH is just the right manager to get the best out of him

He played well today. Needs to perform consistently well during the next few weeks to cement his place.

Where's that 'BUZZ OFF' thread gone? :) He WAS excellent and deserves the plaudits this week more so than the derision he received a couple of games ago. He needs more proper match time and will continue to get better. I won't be all knee jerky (like the 'buzz off' thread was) and say he's the answer to all our prayers but his dead ball delivery is light years ahead of anything we have and if MH can get his fitness up I can see him being Ale's replacement for the rest of the season.

In the home toilets of Vicarage Road under Jim Magilton.... thereafter in the shadows of Paul Hart, and latterly the blind spot of our dearly departed (but tactically naive) Neil Warnock.

CB cheers for the links earlier - watched it all - cracking game, when people say that Wigan were poor, I don't agree - their passing and possession football was very good at times particularly after they scored.; That said, we looked very resolute!

Great game. it wasn't too long ago people were writing him off!! Funny how opinions change. great 3 points and even the move out of the relegation zone makes us look a slightly more attractive prospect to potential signings.

We all know how good Buz was, particularly before his serious injury, this has to be the first time he's really recaptured his best form. It's a fantastic bonus at just the right time...

I said this from the start of the season to everyone, both my friends in real life and on here. Ephraim, and buzsaky in particular, are exactly the sort of players who would benefit from playing in the premier league. That extra bit of space you get suits them both down to the ground, allowing their technical skills to flourish.

In my opinion, ephraim should be starting and playing where mackie is. Absolute league 1 player in my eyes.

Warnock only ever played him as a winger and usually as a bit part sub. I have always thought he was better in centre midfield which he showed today. Composed, in control and linked well with Joey. Aside from the superb free kick he also forced a couple of other classy saves from Al Habsi. Welcome back White Pele.

Ive always said you play him just for his set pieces, wed have lost that game under Warnock. Derry would have started instead of Buz and we would have created nothing.
If we dont get a set piece take, Id like to see buz on the wing next season when Faurlin is back.

Mackie is not an L1 player, maybe a NPC player but Ephraim is useless and he found his level on loan at Charlton.

Really can't with your comments Flyer. Buz showed today he is far more than a set piece specialist - although that free kick was something special.
