<laugh> Baffling. We were destroying them for a huge chunk of this game and they score pretty much every attempt on goal they had.

Shola is worthless upfront so we obviously had no attacking threat, unsurprisingly our goals came from midfielders.

This is our 8-2 or 6-1 lads. Bad day at the office, forget about it and move on.

    Ahh well.

Let's put this game behind us. We were the better team for 70 minutes of that game. We need to review what went wrong in defense though!!

dont get me wrong! im not criticizing Pardiola at all, im just saying that the gameplan has backfired badly today. really badly. i cant express how angry I am right now. surprised im able to type calmly. I can only assume from how awful that performance was that Pards has done this on purpose in order to force MA to open the wallet for a CB. Guthrie and Benni are only players who can walk away from that knowing they tried their best. Im appalled at everyone else and cant wait until Shola disappears.
still too angry though, need stress relief

**** off man, we're losing and we criticise our manager, all fans do it.
We're not going to go off and say his tactics were sublime even though we lost 5-2.

Only one person has called him out as being a bad manager and he's been slated for it.

Like all the FIFA fanatics going on about formation changes. The defence fell to pieces and everyone ran around like headless chickens, it was hardly a tactical ploy from Pardew.

Why are people blaming Shola?? Our defence has been bollocks and Pardew's tactics haven't worked ... I'm pretty happy we've had this result to bring us back to earth : think we need to invest in a midfielder really quickly

Pardews a genious at doing subs.

Just think of the most stupid substitution you can think of and thats exactly what he'll do.

Williamson, the slowest player in the premier league, playing offside at the halfway line? Stupid decision. Play deep, Williamson's good. There he's useless.

We dominated the game for large portions but our striker was Ameobi. The dodgy penalty gave them a new sense of belief that we didn't react to and they scored every chance they got.

Decision to play the offside trap was woeful but Pardew's done too much good work for everyone to suddenly turn on him and call him a **** manager. The fact that we're 6th as it stands is testament to this.

At least if we go on a losing run now then we have Ba, Cisse and Tiote to give us a boost when they come back.
