    Anyone know where I can watch the opening games tomorrow? Will I have to stream them?

    Cheers <ok> I'll have to stream that then, but at least it should be in decent quality and English commentary.

    I somewhat doubt that, they like good flair players :D.

    I won't be watching it because it's a dire competition.

    Looks like it has damaged Newcastle, without their African players they have been walloped 2 5 today.

    That's the problem with African internationals...you can lose them for long periods at a busy time for European leagues.

    But I guess that's part of parcel with signing African players.

    We have a strong contingent of Batswanas in our University football team so for the tournament I'll be cheering on the mighty Zebras!

    (not that they stand a chance of even progressing past the group stages)

    Once they are out, I'll go back to cheering on Ghana. They became my adopted national side after their World Cup heroics.

    Equatorial Guinea and Zambia both looked impressive up front today. Zambia's Emmanuel Mayuka is one to watch. Senegal were dreadful.

    Senegal looked tired or the couldn't be arsed. Probs both.

    Morocco v Tunisia is on at the same time as the Leicester game :( I was correct with my hunch about Taarabt not getting a starting place; Morocco's lineup looks really strong, apart from perhaps a dodgy keeper:

    Nadir Lamyaghri;
    Michael Chretien, Mehdi Benatia, Badr El Kaddouri, Ahmed Kantari;
    Houcine Kharjah, Oussama Assaidi, Younes Belhanda, Mbark Boussoufa; Nordin Amrabat;
    Marouane Chamakh

    That'd give any team a tough time.

    Not overly impressed with the PL "Stars" on show for the Ivory Coast. They didn't look convincing and that Burkina Faso own goal was properly awful. The Ivory Coast need to up their game if they're serious about winning. On that evidence, Gervinho won't be missed by Arsenal.

    Some of the defending has been terrible but makes it much more entertaining.

    Anyone watching Gabon v Morocco? Both teams seem to have a lot of talent, and Gabon's support is magnificent. They've just scored 2 great goals in the space of 2 minutes to turn the game around, and their fans have gone absolutely mental. Dire competition? I don't think so.

    Thought I'd just bump this thread up one last time as the final is on. Anyone watching? Zambia have captivated me during this competition, Emmanuel Mayuka in particular, so I'm rooting for them. Good game so far.
