Outplayed by a far superior team that thankfully could not score in a brothel today! Got to be more than happy with a point and a CLEAN SHEET!!!!!!!!!!
Well done norwich, great team especially the goalkeeper, great fans, fair result either way, we played **** and deserved nothing more. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Superb defensive display and a deserved point. First clean sheet and STILL nobody can do the double over Lambert.
Hope Malouda slips in the shower tonight and gets injured untill the end of the season, ****ing useless
Am pretty sure we will, we have one of the best managers in football who can motivate and is a superb tactician Really proud of the team, as said before especially Zak & Ruddy - both were outstanding today!
and thank you Chelsea fans for keeping the thread in the spirit is was designed for! We respect good supporters and welcome you back anytime
Ok so 0 - 0. Chelsea's finishing was to put mildly generous, but time for ratings: Ruddy: 9.5 - played a blinder, saved everything needing saving. R Martin: 6.5 - gave the ball away quite often. Ayala - 8.5 - dealt with pretty much everything well. Whitbred - 10.0 - cleared pretty much every cross that came at him (Although Chelsea's crossing was a bit off). Impossible to fault him today. Naughton - 7.0 - actually had a quiet game with not too much coming at him, hard to fault but hard to justify a higher rating. Surman - 7.0 - I guess the left side of the pitch was pretty quiet all game for us. See Naughton. Johnson - 8.0 - great helping out the defence today. Fox - 6.5 - long passing was always just a little infront of Holt and Morrison today. Not bad, but not a great game by any stretch of the imagination. Pilkington - 7.5 - a useful outlet in attack, let down by uncharacteristically poor final balls on several occasions though. Holt - 8.0 caused Chelsea defence a few problems, made a few half chances. For the limited service a good job well done. Won a few handy tackles too. Morrison - 7.5 - see Holt, minus the last point.
Well done Norwich, but I do have to say that if it weren't for Ruddy we'd have the 3 points. The sooner we buy a right winger and plonk Sturridge in the middle, the better imo.
His taking up a valuable place in the team that could go to someone who A) Deserves it, B) Is better and C) Actually puts effort in.
On a brighter note though credit to the away boys today, ****ing quality support and only chants i could hear were chelsea bar the odd john terry chants from norwich fans
He only came on because Lamps was injured and I thought he did alright apart from his awful shot on his right. Ruddy MOTM for me, Luiz mighty close.
Could not agree more - do that and you can challenge for the title again. Looks beyond Chelsea this season but still a hugely impressive team.
Chelsea's MoM for me Drogs, he has really knuckled down and injects pace at the back which is paramount in prelonging JT's career.
Not totally surprised, we under a lot of pressure a lot of the time, is hard to to generate the atmosphere when you're on the ropes. Had we scored, it would have been very different but in fairness we never really looked like scoring today. PL set the team up to frustrate and contain, he succeeded
Romeu should of came on, he wasted about 3 chances, was poor finishing on everyone, missed the ball twice aswell when he could have got shots and gave the ball away endlessly, his done nothing this season of any note
