Now, Rooney is REALLY taking the piss!

1. He reckons Arsenal can still win the title <laugh>

Sure, they can, Roo. But so can Swansea and Norwich, mate.

Yeah, wtf does Rooney know about football?

So he earns millions each year for playing under one of the world's greatest managers, in one of the best teams in world football.....don't mean he knows more than us armchair experts does it!!!

Pele talks a load of bollocks and he's... well, he's Pele!
Paul Merson was an excellent player, but I wouldn't trust him to put his shoes on the right feet, frankly.
Ferguson, Mourinho and Wenger all lacked talent on the pitch, but they clearly know a lot more about the game than far, far better players do.
Talent ≠ insight.

Rooney's comments are sensible, though.
Why rile up the opposition just before you play them?
Far better to make utterly inoffensive, tame and harmless comments, in my opinion.
Why write their manager's team-talk for him?

What he says and what he believes I would imagine are entirely different, remember he's only just had a hairdryer off baconface, so would have been told to stay out of the news with any more controversy.

Not much changed with this poster then (whoever it might be). Still the totally uncalled for personal insults - such a shame you returned as your board was very civil and posters were happy to trade harmless banter during your absence.

Of course Arsenal could win it, it just happens to be very, vey, very unlikely. You can probably knock a "very" off if we both win tomorrow though.

Rooney's being uncharecteristically diplomatic but it's just the same as all the managers do, they always talk up an opponent and make respectful comments. It takes the pressure off your team and should the worst happen they can't be accused of being arrogant.

11. I'm happy for the Gooners to win tomorrow, provided we do, too (although it wouldn't be the end of the word if we give 3 points away to them against £ity, as they are hardly likely to beat them).

The Gooners can do us a great favour tomorrow by beating United, to help us clinch that 2nd spot. Without Henry playing they do have some small chance of causing an upset, although they do have an absolutely dreadful defence. Even if they scrape a lucky draw, that would be something. However, I rather fear that they will be taken apart, again.
