I paid about £525 for a Raymond Weil. Lovely watches. But I'd try and get a Tag either 2nd hand or stolen.
A watch is a watch, I wouldnt spend 500 on one if I was Sheikh Mohammed, not that I would ever wear a watch.

Omega all the way I paid £750 for one for my old man from a hanley jewellers just off broad st (forget the name) I personally like Police watches, the ones not requiring battery or solar but kinetic I think it is (basically your movement] Seiko are a good cheap alternative if you go for the £150 - £200 + range, they also make the D and G watches and Pulsar which is a cheaper option for less than £100
for less heard of there is raymond weil and Rado, which isnt so big here but are popular in some of europe and in the middle east, used to have one but it was a fake. Nice looking watch though
If you're going to get a kinetic watch it has to be a quality one, otherwise it doesn't keep time at all well.
