No, it's over 3000. As long as we don't lose, I'll be happy, as we have a game in hand on Sheff Utd. It's been quite convenient that our 2 defeats this season have both been against teams not competing against us for automatic!
Current total sold is circa 20000 - expected is 22k http://www.cafc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10267~2583532,00.html
When was the last time got over 20k without a special ticket discount? Great effort, hopefully we'll put a really good effort in on the pitch to convince the new fans the good times are back!
You mean, returning fans. If we win with over 22k in the third tier, that is going to send a real message to the likes of....Scumwall and Alice for next season (not that we are going to have to play Scumwall next season)
Even more massive than the other lot On the website it says there's a limited number of tickets for the covered end. I might end up having to sit beside Mary in the West Stand.
Anyone know hat happened to A2C? Keep expecting him to pop up. Or Nick vol au vent Gray. Looks like Ackers has gone the way of the fruitcakes too. Shame in a way.
Still one of the funniest things I've seen on any football website was Nick Gray's European Football Nations seeding chart - brilliant.
We are one fan down today- i think I'm literally dying from food poisoning (crab). Gutted I won't be able to show IA the west stand bovril. "make some noise for the boys" (sorry)
Desperate news, SC - it's eating these luxury foods that does it - stick to burgers, kebabs and hot dogs from now on... Hope you're feeling better soon.
Cheers tewkes- 3 points and all will be well. I guess it will be quiet on here today, seeming we are expecting a bumper crowd. Hope we don't miss out on too much
Going to get some gardening done before kick-off... If nothing else, we're going to miss being in a 20,000 plus at The Valley! No way I could have made this game, but sad to miss out. I'm sure it's going to be an infinitely more skilful game than last week's, but I'm convinced we can win it - I'm going for 2-0. Interesting looking at a Blades thread on here at the start of the season. The majority couldn't wait to get rid of Evans and Cresswell! Funny how things work out. It is going to be quiet, but Oz should be joining us at some point and hopefully Ken S from Spain - is eddie still lounging in the sun? If so, he might be on here as well. Are we going to keep this as the match thread?
Looks like it. Same team as last week, only change is Haynes in for Stephens on the bench. Evans concerns me, and I like the guy on the left with red hair.. Quinn is it? Green has to make sure he repeats last weeks efforts. Leading up to KO I'm more nervous than I was last week. Or maybe it's the crab! 1-0 addicks
I'm OK after that spot of gardening - must be the calming effect of communing with nature... Very pleased Bradley Pritchard kept his place. Beattie on the bench for The Blades - he's got an ominously good record against us.
Definitely a dangerous option from the bench. I remember the days when we were linked with a £6 million move for him! I wish I knew more about sheff utd- but, and I mean this with no disrespect, I don't recognise many of their players names. COYR
Yes - when the manager is more recognisable than the players, it tells you something about the job Wilson is doing there - there recent form is extraordinary. J-F Lescinel I remember from his time at Swindon. There's a few goals gone in early in this division already.
