Some questions I'd like your views on gentlemen: QUESTION - Is Pards risking HBA slapping in a transfer request by not giving him a regular starting run in the team, or has he judged it right to keep him at just the right level of frustration and chomping at the bit? QUESTION-Is it now time for fans to make it known to Ashley via forums etc that we are prepared to tuck into our humble pie, and make it known that he is welcome at SJP on matchdays and there'll be no animosity? (we're all waiting for the next **** up, I know, but things ARE better now under his stewardship than they ever were under Freddie. QUESTION-we can buy ONE more player this window. Just one. Who? QUESTION-if we are still between 5th-7th AFTER the ACON, with our new signing(s), is 4th a realistic final position to aim for? QUESTION-how the devil are you all?

    1. No, although I can see why people would think so.
    2. Ashley isn't on Not606, so that'd be difficult. If after Jan we haven't sold anyone, then I think he would be welcomed back without any more death threats to his family.
    3. Cissokho
    4. We can aim, but unless we sign a top quality CB (like Vertonghen or Douglas) and a top quality LB I think 7th is where we'll finish. 6th possibly depending on how Liverpool do without Suarez.
    5. I'm fine

    1) Pards is being a little silly but HBA has come out and said he won't kick up a fuss. He feels he owes us for supporting him through injury

    2) Yes, maybe extend an olive branch of sorts. I await the next mess up but truth be told since relegation he has been spot on (barring Hoots although look where we are now, would hoots get us here?)

    3) Vertonghen

    4) No we will not get 4th. Chelsea and Arsenal are bound to strengthen too. 6th Is where we will finish imo

    5) I am very well thank you. Loving that it is the weekend and we have a match today. How are you?

    1. There is of course a risk that Benny will hand in a request. Especially with his reputation. However, he seems to have matured alot recently, and he is doing well when he comes on. In some respects it is good to see a player of Ben Arfa on our bench as it shows the strength of the team we currently have. It also shows that just because of a players 'name' he isn't first on the team sheet.

    2. Yes. As much as it pains me, Mike has done a good job lately. Fair enough, the whole SDA fiasco annoyed me. But, at the end of the day it will ALWAYS be St James' to the fans. Nothing can change that.

    3. I would like us to sign either Williams or Tomkins. Would be nice to have a prospect in the centre of defense who can partner Saylor when Colo retires. (I firmly believe Colo will see out his career with us)

    4. 4th is a tad optimistic as I think another blip is inevitable. I can see Arsenal and Chelsea really pulling away too. So, I for see a battle for 6th between ourselves and Liverpool.

    5. I'm not bad. At work, but hey, it's 10 already so the past two hours have flown. Plus, I also think I'm in with a chance with getting with a girl I have stalked since college!

1, Pardew is doing the right thing and hopefully Ben Arfa will feel he has a point to prove when he gets a game.

2, Ashey has generally amended his ways and seems to understand the way the club and the fans work a little better, and no one can argue that we are a well run club. There are much much worse owners to have in the PL.

3, I'd like Scott Sinclair, a quick winger with end product.

4, IF we are 6th, and the gap is similar to what it is then Chelsea are catchable, but I'd be ecstatic with 6th and very happy with 7th.

5, On my way to the train station in 10 mins to get the train to London for the match.

Lol I wish you well in your endeavours! Make sure she does not eat into your NUFC time though.... I made a vow to not let any broad stop me from watching them play (does this make me sad?) Oh also, I never realised this until the other day but you can see the Acomb windmill from the train just before getting into the train station. I saw it and thought of you <yikes>

    1. I think HBA will start to play regular games, maybe he will slap it in - maybe he won't. Who knows? We'd have to be Mystic Meg to say a definite yes or no.

    2. No, he deserves people to be mad at him and worried what he will do next. He was the main reason why we went down a few seasons back. Although, he seems to be learning from his mistakes.

    3. Unrealistic - Lionel Messi. Realistic - We are dying for a centre back incase Colo or Willo get injured so I'd say somebody like Tomkins.

    4. Depends how many points we are off 4th. If we are still 4 points off Chelsea, then of course it's realistic.

    5. I'm good thanks, ready for a lazy day, ready for the match then getting pissed tonight doon the Toon :)

    1. He is just finding Benny a place in the team, its pointless starting him if he doesn't know where he fits in. When he finds a spot he will play all the time

    2. I have to admit he has ran the club well since we went down and we aren't in any risk of dying financially with him in charge. Some of his decisions baffle me though like the name change

    3. I'd be happy with James Tomkins as cover. If we were to splash out again i'd love Douglas and Cissokho

    4. I think we should continue to take each game as it comes like we are currently doing. If in March we stay there or thereabouts we can think about pushing up the table

    5. I'm fine thanks for asking :)

    1. No. But when Cisse and Ba return, if HBA isn't getting in the team I'll probably start to wonder about it. Cisse & Ba's return surely heralds the new attacking look we've been after for about a year now and if HBA still is sitting on the bench, then I would probably not be surprised to see him kick up some sort of fuss.

    2. Internet forums don't make a difference.

    3. Tomkins, I guess. I'd have liked Onouha but that didn't even look like happening to begin with.

    4. Well why the hell not? Most other teams in that position mid Feb would consider it so why shouldn't we? I'd still not be disappointed with a 7th finish though.

    5. Not bad thanks <ok>.
