    Sturridge 10m
    Yann M'Vila 8m
    Alex Chamberlain 10m
10m on bringing in quality youth players from around the world for the academy/development squad
Contract extensions for Enrique & Barton

I would offload Smith, Perch, Lovenkrands, Guthrie, Xisco & Ryan Taylor for 7m

Already said he doesn't want to play in England. Said his playing style is more suited to Spanish football.

Juan Iturbe - 2 million (18 y/o argentine winger playing in Paraguay known as one of the many new Messi's, also great on Football manager :))
Seydou Doumbia - 8-10 million (23 y/o Ivory Coast striker playing for CSKA Moscow, he's awesome)
Veirinha - 5 million (25 y/o Potuguese Winger playing for PAOK, attracting interest from Zenit St Petersburg so he must be good!)
Taye Taiwo - free (25 y/o Nigerian left back playing for Marsielle - attracted interest from liverpool and Spurs last summer)

That adds up to a meagre 17 million!, go on Mike you know you want to ;)

Agree with first 4. But think Gervinho and Sturridge would cost a bit more now. Lots of *reported* competition for Gervinho, so I'd say around 15 to get him if I'm honest. And I'd say upwards of 12 for Sturridge.
I've mentioned Gradel on here before. Think he's a cracking little player. Him, Johnson, Becchio and Snodgrass have been Leeds' best this season. Out of them I'd take Gradel and Johnson. Johnson can play both midfield and left back I think? Both young (23) with a lot of potential, and could be acquired very cheaply. Jus' saying. For back up and squad depth like.

Not too sure on Olsson myself, I've not really seen enough of him to be able to make a decent assessment so ya know.

I think Bolton's Holden could also be worth a go. Not priority though, obviously.
I'd also like Elmander on a free! I've said it before and I'll say it again. On a free, not a bad acquisition for back up. I'd prefer Elmander over Shola and Lover any day. Lover to be shifted, hang on to Shola, Ranger out on loan.

Heard Taiwo is also on a free.
    Mmmm, free players...

If Arda Turan is going to cost 15 mill then there is nooooo way we are going to get Krancjar for 6 mill
I say forget Turan, good player but has no pace
Larrson from Birmingham really impressed me in the carling cup final, but the only problem is we don't really have a big target man to hit at the moment, and Shola isnt exactly the target man i would want to be hittin those crosses too

Turan, I swear we were linked with him a few years ago, would hav ebeen good then but not now. Personally I would love to see:

    Free - Larrson
    £9m - Gervinho
    £13m - Gameiro
    £8m - Sturridge
    Free - Taye Taiwo*

    *If Enrique left

Gradel and Snodgrass would both be good signings for you; I rate Snodgrass as a more technical player, though Gradel still has a lot of quality and could destroy fullbacks in the Premiership. 14 goals this season and counting, he could do damage for most teams I think. As a replacement for Andy Carroll, I'd probably fancy you to go for someone like Vleminckx. As I said in another thread on here, Bradley Johnson is not an intelligent enough footballer to make it in the Premiership IMO. Nobody would be sad if he left Leeds, and if we can do better in this division, I'm sure you can in the division above.

Ooh, a Leeds fan! ha. Hey!
Wasn't entirely sure on Johnson like, I just get the odd comments about him from my dad, he seemed decent ish and I heard he was versatile? (Prove me wrong though obviously by all means)
Out of all of them Gradel would be the one I'd like the most, I think he could fit into our squad well, if he doesn't mind not as many starts obviously. His goal count is impressive, but it is a massive step up to the Premiership. He's still a player I'd seriously consider though. Snodgrass is also a lot younger than I thought, he's like 23 as well right? I always thought he was later 20s to be honest. No idea why like.
Johnson couldn't cut it yet I don't think as you say, but he just seems like he could develop more.
And due to it having been reported a couple of times (mainly probably the usual bullshit thrown around in Jan transfer window), just thought I'd ask what you guys would think to having Smithy back?
Good luck with your season and hope you do well!

I mean, we've played him at left back and left midfield before but you can tell it's not his natural position. He's not much of a dribbler, likes to pass it pretty sharpish and often this results in us losing possession. Same with his shooting, it's a lot more wasteful than the other players in our squad. Don't get me wrong, he is decent, but Newcastle could pick up more talented players in the division. His agent reckons he can play in the Prem next season, I seriously doubt it.

Snodgrass does play like someone with a lot more experience than he has, excellent skill, and I'd say 90-95% of the time he comes up against a fullback, he skins them and manages to get the cross or shot away, most of which are very accurate. I'd say he's technically better than Gradel, but Gradel's pace probably lends itself to the Premiership better. I'm sure he'd be able to make the step up - he's got a far better record than Routledge who is the player it seems Newcastle fans tend to compare him to. Not that I want him to go by any means (my favourite Leeds player by a country mile due to his ragged effort and determination) but as of the end of this season, he only has a year left on his contract so I'm guessing he'll be fishing for a move to the top division if we don't get promoted.

Thanks, I'm sure we'll be in the Premiership within the next three years even if we manage to screw it all up in typical Leeds United style. As for Alan Smith, he's a traitor and a scumbag in my eyes. I think the management would be very unwise to bother bringing him in purely due to the tension it would create in the stands. I'd like a player of his calibre, but someone younger on much lower wages (reportedly on 60k a week with you lot?!; Grayson said in a press conference today that 40k a week is way out of our budgetary reach). Also someone who has a future in them, not dodgy knees and a history of broken promises.
