Yes, because if they're allowed to be here, they need some help to survive otherwise the streets would be full of homeless starving people. Also, the money given to them goes straight back into the economy (bar the pennies left over from benefits that they might save up/send home). Kids that turn 18 and have never worked get benefits, why should other people that haven't worked be denied them?
Wouldn't it appease everybody to have a test-run? Stop all immigration for 2 years - then when the reactionary right wing ****wits that occupy these islands are unable to get a cleaner or their burger on time and they still view the country as "going to the dogs", they will finally stop blaming immigrants for it. They are reducing the deficit... Even the left agree with the cuts made.. they just think they should have been protracted over a longer period of time. in which case we would end up like the french and lose our credit rating by not making them soon enough. Anyway back to the original point.. I think foregn nationals should not get any form of benefit. until they have lived and paid into the system for a minimum period of say 2 years.. If during this time they say pump out some children or lose their job and cant pay their rent then give them benefits as a loan type system where the money is clawed back via tax when they re enter the work force. . failure to comply should lead to them being lined up and shot along with the gays and other degenerates.
