Tying this back to the pish about squaddies the other day, they commit more crimes than immigrants.

Find me three similar stories to the ones you mention about these "heroes" in the red tops.

Absolutely not.

And Micks comment about what it would cost us if they did not get benefits is redundant if the ****ers were not allowed in in the first place.

We should concentrate on looking after everyone born here first no matter race, religion, creed or colour.

Charity begins at home.

It's soft touches like Mick and STD and Toby why this country is in such a mess.

We can't even look after our elderly.

Let someone else, like France, Germany or Australia accomodate them.

I hardly see the comparison in people who are paid to kill coming back and causing trouble and those who are not who have moved here because the EU says so and still go onto kill.

Really it makes no difference to me in the first place, it used to bother me when i was looking for a permanent residence but now i stay 2 doors up from the most polish family you'll ever meet (i swear one of them is borucs brother)

Jobseekers benefits are **** all compared to the other **** you can get <ok>

Next door neighbour has incapicity support, housing paid, council tax paid......all because she was an alky 10 years ago, still receives the money & benefits now.

And did you understand what the study discovered?

The research found:

As of February 2011, 371,000 people - out of a total of 5.5 million - claiming working-age benefits had been non-UK nationals when they first registered for a National Insurance Number. This group represented 6.4% of all claimants
Almost 17% of UK nationals were claiming working-age benefits
Of those born outside the UK, 258,000 were from outside the European Economic Area (non-EEA)
Of this figure, 54% were now British citizens and most others had an immigration status that meant they were eligible for benefits
What the government calls working-age benefits include jobseeker's allowance, income support, carer's allowance and disability living allowance, among others.

Also, according to the BBC, their 'stats' are pure bullshit:

A look at a sample of 9,000 claimants of certain nationalities suggested 2% were illegally claiming benefits.

And the best bit is:

The estimates suggest workers born abroad are less likely to claim benefits than UK nationals.

So let's get rid of our dole scrounging ****ty englishmen rather than blame the 'foreigns' on the state of this country <ok>

A disproportionate number of the wanted people on Crimewatch are immigrants too. I'm not saying that immigrants are inherently worse people, there are social and economical factors which mean they are more likely to be involved in crime.

The ridiculous thing is when certain sections of the media try to pretend it's not the case. There was a rapist on the loose in Manchester over Christmas/New Year and a description of him was given in the M/cr Evening News. He was described as average height, average build with dark hair. For some reason they neglected to tell us he is black <doh>

Housing and Council tax benefits don't cover the entire payments.

<laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

Do you know that the Tories were arguing for less control over the banks at the start of the recession? <doh>

So what did those 'liberal lefties' do that was such a waste of money? Invest in the NHS and the education system? Attempt to get rid of child poverty and social exclusion?

Simply not true, look at my thread starting history, 3 months at least since I posted such a thread. The Daily Mail runs several such stories every day. Do I link to them? No.

Depends how much your rent is!!!

They pay a top fee of about £400/£500 depending on circumstances ie finance, whether you need a property that size etc.

She has a 3 bed house with 2 teenage kids & a grandkid so she would probably get the full whack..........even had her windows done last year, **** knows who paid for that!!

I've seen you posting many times about this particular subject. Any time there's a thread on immigration it's the usual suspects with the same tired clches who appear like clockwork.

"The Daily Mail runs several such stories every day."

Exactly <ok>

I've yet to meet anyone who gets paid the full whack, maybe i don't know enough junkies who knows but I'm fairly certain from experience that you don't get the full amount.

For example the benefits I'm on just now entitle me to some housing benefit and some council tax relief I still need to pay 60 quid of the £106 (which is being lowered by 12 quid) each fortnight towards my housing bills.

Living with benefits isn't all its cracked up to be I'd kill for a job right now.

The state of the NHS and the education system in this country are incomparable to when Blair took power. This country was crippled by the Thatcher/Major, who didn't invest in the basics needed to keep up with the rest of the modern world. Have you ever been to France? Trains are awesome, hospitals are works of art, you get decent healthcare and waiting times are short as ****. You know why? They spend money on things that count <ok>

We had 18 years of the Tories failing to invest money properly on schools and the NHS. Have you seen all the new hospitals and schools that were built while Labour were in power?

If the Tories had won in 1997 most kids would be going to school in portacabins and the NHS would be run by MacDonalds.

I understood but apparently you didn't.
6.4% of benefits claiments are immigrants.
17% of UK nationals claim benefits.
These percentages are of two entirely different things: benefits claimants and UK nationals.
Got that?

Edit: oh, misread, damn.
