I agree, Kyle, they are adored by UEFA and their officials. But that night, they outplayed you in every single way possible and even if you had VP probably would've still won.
But they hadn't yet scored (if my memory is correct). 11 v 11 we could have possibly held on, so naturally, UEFA had to intervene, and destroy any hopes we had of at least matching them.
Weren't they 1-1 in the game when he was wrongly sent off, so must have been doing something right as at that point they were going through. Would be good if Arsenal finished 5th won the Champions League and we got an extra place.
The RVP decision was a joke...but i also remember them having a goal wrongly disallowed in the first leg so conspiracy claims re uefa favouring them dont really add up. As for winning it. ... you lost to blackburn fulham swansea man utd man city spurs and liverpool .... non of who are remotely close to being at the level of champions league winners. Suggests that you have no hope ... a goid dream but no hope

Personally i think the race for 3rd and 4th spot involves chelsea spurs arsenal liverpool and newcastle....i think toon will just fail, liverpool will fade so itll be between us 3.... with chelsea or us falling at the last hurdle...hope im wrong about us but i have be a spur way to long to get carrief awsy
To tell you the truth I don't think we will even beat A.C. Milan over 2 legs we just don't score enough goals and if IF they keep RVP quiet we won't win they're not that bad but we seem worst at the moment Hopefully by the time that match come along we will be in a better state.
Bendtner had a blinding chance one on one with the keeper near the end of the game to send us through, but completely cocked it up. If VP hadn't been sent off it would have been him 1 on 1 with the keeper and I would put my house on him to score in that situation, so the ridiculous sending off did cost us the win!
Perhaps the current 11 of fit players but our first team if all fit are better than most of the CL teams.
Its possible. We're way too far behind to do anything in the league but with Wilshere & Sagna coming back we could make a good run the the Champions league.
