People come to Leeds to progress as players.

Johnson signed. He was, being honest, crap more often than good in his first 2 years at the club. Then just as he starts to show the performances we knew he could give, he leaves.

Howson was okay in League One. Often inconsistent though. Last season and this season, he started to show his true potential. And now he's going.

Gradel signs in League One. He was okay, but had a lot of faults. Then last season, he was incredible. Then he leaves.

Snodgrass, White and Clayton have shown their talent this season. It wouldn't surprise me to see all 3 move on in the summer.

I'm pissed off with watching players come to Leeds as nobodies and then leave just as they are good. This is why when we sign unknowns like Robbie Rogers, it's no longer an exciting thing. With players like Grella, Nunez etc. they turned out to be duds. But with Snodgrass, Clayton and Johnson, went from unknowns to quality performers. So if this Robbie Rogers is any good, it'll just be another player to worry about leaving.

Especially when his best yank mates are premier league players. Loyalty has long gone! And the only 2 players who bleed for this club are Snoddy & becchio.

The clayton issue would annoy me, the lads wears our shirt for 6 months, hes proved ****all and yet we may end up seeing him in a bolton shirt!

Saying that, at this moment in time, we will be playing bolton and wigan next season. so players like rosco and clayts are best off here

They all ended up at smaller clubs anyway, & in the case of Kilkenny, Kasper & Beckford, smaller clubs lower down the league table.
    The grass isn't always greener.

bates is definately a nutter, he dont care where the player ends up just as long as he can make a few bob towards his empire, shocking and should not be in football, why oes he sell your best players? it dont make sence .....your captain as well, for a club like leeds he has enough money to get the players to make certain of premiership football and not lay mid table as the others race away.....dont get it.....

We have always been a stepping stone of sorts, that is just football in general...
Better players than Jonny Howson have moved on, aka John Charles, Gordon McQueen etc.

Some players will always want to move onto bigger contracts at better placed clubs.
We have to realise that we are not a big club (its true that we are a sleeping giant but we have to keep it real).

What upsets me is that we do not disclose what (if any) contract we offer our best players.
Lets get a sensible wage cap and stick to it, we then offer the core players these terms openly and above board.
If they don't sign then we should then its right to sell them with 6 months left.

Losing a big player is not the end of the world, for example Southampton sold Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, but they moved on quickly and are well placed.

We should stop trying to self destruct over Bates. It is clear to all supporters that he is not a very good chairman. He does not lead the club.
He lacks the bottle to discuss his policies openly, he has blamed others for his continued failings throughout his life.

However we we should stop focusing on the negative and enjoy the "ups & downs, ups & downs", one day we will win something and then we will start the downs again (that's the way we it is as a Leeds fan)....

nashville, if we have to self-harm to get rid of him, it has to happen. We've lost so many players needlessly, not just Howson (the manager's first choice), and let's also not overlook all Bates' lies about rebuying stadium and training ground, the unfairest prices in world football, his blatant disrespect for Leeds fans and the East Stand scheme which will RUIN our club.

There won't be any ups under him in the future, just downs if he keeps us stagnant the way we have been for his seven years in charge. Just because we have "ups and downs" in our club anthem doesn't mean we can't do everything in our power to kick this bastard into touch and save our club's future. We've got to act!

Same may possibly said then of Snodgrass if lated twitter rumours are true. Afraid Becks will always be a legend for us Foxes as he scored a hat-trick against the Forest scummers for us.

It will not bother him, he will sell when he wants to !

We will never leave the stadium empty on a match day, if we did he would not be able to sell as we would be bankrupt again after a few months (plus I could not face the friendly insolvency experts like Krasner and co. again).

So. Let's keep it real, he is above the law of the land and football authorities don't have the bottle to stop him!

He will want Leeds to be promoted as it feeds his ego and his bank balance.

Ignore him and heap praise on Grayson to wind him up! I believe we need to ironically thank the previous mystery owners for saving Leeds (before Ken took over ownership last year)!

We should place a manaquin with a question mark on the face in the Peacock to mark our "unknown saviour".

    Love Leeds (hate Bates)!

Not true, if you hit an owner hard enough, you CAN make them sell. If he doesn't feel he's got the money or the support at Leeds and he's getting dog's abuse whenever he sets foot in the city, he will be forced to sell. He's an old man now, frail and susceptible to angry outbursts at the tiniest protest. He will go mental and leave if we have a sustained effort against him.

We won't leave it 100% empty, but I can see crowds in the low teens next season, and that won't allow us to break even and pay for ER and TA. If he can't pay for those, he'll at least be forced to 'rebuy' them off himself which will do us a favour. If he doesn't do that, he's ****ed and will have to sell or go into admin (but wait, he's already taken us into admin once, and aren't you only allowed one admin?)

If no-one else has the bottle to stop him, we have to. Paying him 20-40 quid every other week is not in the best interests of Leeds United. It just means he can keep feeding his parasitical East Stand project at our team's expense. We have to act rather than be lazy and supine.

He's more bothered about his hotel than promotion, although I don't doubt he still wants it - just can't be arsed paying for it (which is an absolute necessity).

Thing is, while that might wind him up, he'd know it were a pisstake. We need to act against him, not raise a chuckle from the director's box. Boycotts and activism are the way to defeat this monster and drive him out of English football for good. Otherwise we're stuck in a decade-long time warp waiting for him to die. And that's not in anyone's interests.

This might apply to your normal business man, but Ken is not normal is he. He has built his career out of fighting and he does not know when to stop and work together..

He will never sell the club, how would he get his kicks if he did?

Just ignore the useless little man, he is no better or worse than Krasner, Ridsdale or McKensize before him..

sorry mate he wont want to pay premiership wages that will effect his own personal goal. he has the benefit of premiership intake and only has to pay championship prices......
