Rise Against - This is Letting Go
My Chemical Romance - Famous Last Words
Simon and Garfunkel - The Sound of Silence (solely because of that scene in Watchmen)

I don't know enough about Baroque, Classical or Romantic music to request any specifics...

    Mine:

Death Cab for Cutie - I Will Follow You Into The Dark
Bob Dylan - Mr. Tambourine Man
Max Richter - On the Nature of Daylight

And then to pick everyone back up a rendition of Spanish Flea by Herb Alpert

    Toughy.

I can't think of three at the moment but Do you Realize by the Flaming Lips struck me as a good funeral song today.

Interesting choices here folks <applause>. I'm liking that we're all mostly cramming in a bunch of sad or wistful pieces.. and then BOOM Mr Tambourine Man.

Kid A is the best, the first Radiohead album to take me on a journey, the album that made me get them as a band.

Am I the only one who prefers Chopin's Polonaises rather than his Nocturnes?

Was hoping you'd say that. All three Op.9 Nocturnes are insanely overrated in my opinion, though Rubinstein's performance of the B flat minor is nice.

It's extremely bad <ok>. What do you have, and who is the pianist?

For me, Chopin is all about the Ballades, Preludes and Nocturnes. The Op.53 Polonaise is obviously insanely good but the rest have never particularly struck me.

Elaborate? The worst it's made me do is freak out when listening to it high in some woods at night, near where I used to live.
