Will he ever stop? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16634917.stm He maybe has a point though!
i don't like warnock but i think he's got a point. i mentioned the other day about how joorabchian is now effectively in control of qpr. agent of hughes, agent of alex, agent of onhuoa, best friend of the agent of henrique and samba... its all very suspect. i think its gonna end in tears. BIG TIME
and guess what? they have just signed taye taiwo who is represented by... yep, you've guessed it - joorabchian --- my bad, he used to be represented by him - he now has a new agent
thank god delia and mcnally told fernandes to get lost - i don't think we could trust him with our club
Is that what he put on the paperwork for his JSA claim when you have to explain why you left your previous position?
Colin strikes me as a very fake guy. Always claiming to take the moral high ground, before following up with a snide side swipe. He says he has no bitterness towards QPR, but claims people within the club slowly poisoned him. Slight contradiction. And hes says Hughes is a good manager before suggesting he only does well because of his agent. Not leaving you job gracefully there Colin are you? And really all this is immaterial, as he was set the task of keeping out of the bottom 3. They were there before Hughes had done anything. You messed up Colin, take it like a big boy. Also his rant about the players having all the power is only true if you spend ridiculous amounts of money on egotistical premiership journeymen, or arrogant self styled 'philosophers' who only joined you for the wage. Lamberts shown that players are not all wage hungry power whores. That seems to be something that is learnt in the prem over time. More fool you if youre too lazy to look elsewhere.
Speaking of paper work, did you see colin on sky sports news crying in his beer reading all his emails of good will? Has he never heard of saving the enviroment & not printing emails unless necessary? What was the figure again...7k emails & only 4 of them were negative towards him? Selective printing i think!
Why do the media still talk to him. For most sacked managers they do not say a word after being sacked. What has colin got to gain from this? He's no longer at QPR, so it doesn't matter.
Thats cos all the positive ones were sent to [email protected], and the negative ones to [email protected]
Nothing. Its the same reason why the press hound and pester grieving people right after attrocities. Nothing about helping them, just wanting to capture some of the pain and misery and hurt on camera to sell to people as voyeurism.
Absolutely brilliant battersea! But from what I've seen a sacked manager just goes quiet until they are invited to be a pundit or get another manager's job. Even then they don't talk about their previous job.
Taken on face value, I do think he makes a few good points. With the amount of money Sheiks, etc, bring into the sport, players at top clubs basically choose their own wages. The likes of Welbeck at Man United demaning 60k a week is just ridiculous, and no doubt the club will have to cave in to the player because if not he'll go elsewhere-probably to the other side of Manchester. I'm also glad Fernandes isn't involved with NCFC, I do think he put pressure on Warnock to deliver instant results and buy good players, which was probably a catch-22 for Warnock. Despite QPR potentially having the money for premier league 'stars', the ones available were unlikely to go to a newly promoted QPR unless the money was very good, and thats reflected in the players Warnock could attract, the passion for the club is noticeably lower than at NCFC. However, if Warnock had made the signings Lambert did over the summer, then no doubt Fernandes would have been disappointed with the lack of big names and Warnocks 'ambition' with the signings. Still, getting a hard time from the chairman, board, and having a bunch of prima donna's to manage is no excuse for slagging off the ref, opposition, pitch, or anything else that comes to mind after every match, so my sympathy for him is somewhat limited.
