7-1 against Spurs. I'll never forget that drive back from Oxford, going mental with my old man every time we scored. Made the M42 bearable!

The Man U 5-0 was almost unbeatable but I was only about 12 at the time and I watched it on TV instead of being at the game. I was at the Mackems game and after 18 months of taunting and goading, watching them completely implode and get torn apart was blinding. Even Brucey's reaction to our lovely singing was ****ing hilarious!

Agree with all of that it was a fantastic game, I was in the second row in the east stand and it was literally going mental everywhere when we went 2-1 up and 3-1 up, the free flags that were handed out really helped to make it look stunning, I have some photos on my laptop somewhere actually, will post them up when I get a chance.

Most enjoyable has to be the Sunderland game. All the other games (that I remember, I'm only 19 so anything pre-1998 I don't actually remember watching live) involved moments of tension, nerves and even distraught but the Sunderland game was just sporting hedonism!

Got loads of pics on the computer now but had some better ones that I lost in a crash.

A great free kick by Acuna against the mackems when it looked odds on that Shearer would have taken it. But Shearer walked past the ball and Acuna crashed it into the net with the keeper just about getting his finger tips to it to no avail as it scraped in past the post.

5-0 Man U for me...I was only 10 but that was THE match that got me into a) football, and b) Newcastle, my local team. Was so sweet as hadn't they beaten us 4-0 only a few months before? And who ever puts 5 past Manure? An absolute joy.

Having said that some of our best matches have been this season - 4-4 Arsenal, 5-1 Mackems and 6-0 Villa all gave me goosbumps.

The 6-0 against Villa in our first home game was a great start to the season and we all streamed out of SJP with a spring in our step and a smile on our faces. A win against the mackems is always great. But at the end of the day how many teams would come back from 0-4 against Arsenal to get a draw?

It was close between the 5-0 vs ManUre and the recent 5-1 spanking of the Mackems, but 1996 was a magical year for Newcastle United and I can still remember the buzz at St James' Park before the match against Manchester United. I was really nervous because they did have a fantastic team - arguably one of their best ever.
I would have been quite happy nicking it by the odd-goal but to spank them the way we did will never leave me!

I got pissed for three days straight after that - fan-bloody-tastic!!!

5-0 over Man United. First time anyone had scored 5 against them in the Premier League, and coming after losing the title to them the previous season, and then being thrashed in the Charity Shield just a couple of months earlier, it was great to get one over on them for once.

The 5-1 over the Mackems was great and I was there but the 5-0 against United was an unbelievable feeling. When I was 8 years old with a group of glory supporting mates that were ALL United fans, they never lived it down for months...

...Was brilliant payback for the stuffing they gave us in the Charity Shield fixture earlier that season and oh and it made losing out on the title a tad easier to swallow!
