Looks like many Leeds fans on various forums are showing their anger over what many knew years ago, Bates is as corrupt as they come and Leeds Utd is his little play thing before he dies.
Now, how many of you will actually get off you backside and protest and stop going to ER, buying all the gear etc and how many will really just continue as normal, moaning away and listening to the bollox from the Bates supporters about hurting the club if you don't go along and it won't do anything to Bates?
Get the media heavily involved and things will happen.

    From now on:

    - I'll attend any protest I can get to
    - I'll only attend home games paid for by my season ticket this season, unless there's a boycott and protests outside the ground.
    - I'm not renewing my ST for next season, or any season till Bates leaves/dies
    - I've already said I'll buy no merchandise or food/drink from the club, not a penny extra from me
    - I'll only get a membership and go to aways next season

Boab, if you want to walk the walk so much, why aren't you getting in touch with the media and arranging stuff?

And I agree with the sentiment. If you have the club's best interests at heart, DON'T buy a programme, pint, pie, replica shirt, matchday ticket or anything else. Starve Bates of the cash and follow us on the road.

I've been protesting for some time, lots of letters, lots of media information, no commercial purchases and non attendance at home games, it's just a pity others haven't followed. I guess what is NOW important, is that people actually DO protest and do what is right now and stick 2 fingers up to the Bates is really great and nobody else was interested in the club, bastards.

    <ok>

I have a bloke who stands near me on the Kop who shouts 'Bates out' as loud and meaningfully as anyone else in the stand, but then ****s off to the bar to give Bates a tenner when 40 minutes of the game have gone. I see other people buying the programme and holding pies and chips who've been protesting against Bates.

BACK UP YOUR WORDS WITH ACTIONS!

Well I don't go to home games and when I am down in Leeds (over 350 miles away) I protest by not buying anything from the club shop. I will join any formal protest that is organisefocusedcussed on continuing until Bates is gone, not the we don't like him this week protest, then we win a home game and everything is ok again. My point is, LEEDS FANS NEED TO PROTEST AND ACT AS ALMOST EVERYONE APPEARS NOW TO BE SUGGESTING, FOR AS LONG AS IT TAKES.
Also how do you know I haven't protest before, you got some secret webcam on all forum members that means you know exactly where they are at any time?

I agree, and urge you to join (if you haven't already) and send constructive suggestions to the LU Supporters Trust. See my other thread called 'Click here if you want Bates out' for further info. :)

I like to moan, it is what being old and Scottish is all about. As for patronise other Leeds fans, only those who were stupid enough to believe in Bates and Grayson, they deserve nothing more than the contempt I and others give them.

I don't think there's many who believed that Bates had Leeds Uniteds best interest at heart, but i think most do Grayson, who is doing a very difficult job under the circumstances,
stop posting comments to fellow Leeds fans telling them to get off there arses, everyones just as pissed off as you, hopefully this is the straw that breaks the camels back and we all try to get rid off the cockney ****er

Disagree with you over that comment and as for the protests, I doubt it, I reckon you will find the crowd for the next home game, roughly the same as the previous home game and that if Leeds win, then the protest will go quiet again. It's rife in football for fans to get angry over things and then show their anger, very few actually keep the protest going, that said, this could be the first to do so..LET'S HOPE SO.

The Saints game is targetted for the big protest, lets hope everyone joins in and don't go to it.
