Always look back very fondly on the Feyenoord game with Bellamy scoring the goal to get through to the next round but the most recent game was the 5-1 Halloween massacre that lifts my soul when I think about it :)

The 5-1 against the scum. I watched it in a mackem heavy pub (only around 3 geordies) and before Nolan's first they were making snide comments and saying how theyre number one in the NE. Most left at half time. I bought a pint for the lone mackem who stayed.

The 4-4 would have done for me. The 5-1 demolition was great but of the other games it would have to be the 5-0 destruction of Man Utd and the little dink by Philippe Albeeeeeert. Oh, Absolutely Glorious!"

Gone for win against Mackems only because I love seeing their faces as they are leaving after third goal went in.

5-0 against Man U we were on fire.

    4-4 classic draw against Arsenal.

I wanted to put both the Man u 5-0 and the Mackems 5-1!!!!

The man u game I was in a pub in Nottingham and the land lady was a Man u supporter who would wind me and my mate up. She disappeared by the end of the match and didn't see her for about a week.

The mackems was sweet justice, there is a mackem at work who bigged it up we're going to show you's up. Your teams a joke.
Monday morning I just grinned all day at him, didn't need to say a word :)
I did the same for the game at their place as well <laugh>

If there is one thing i've learned, gloat AFTER the game not before. Keep your mouth shut <laugh>

Barca for me, worked out it was my first NUFC match I went to. I went with my dad (who is a mackem) and his best mate who is a geordie.
I'll never forget the atmosphere of the old Gallowgate (it was still the 36,000 seater back then so the Gallowgate was still noisy) and Tino scoring the hat-trick.
Makes me nostalgic just thinking about it.

I went for the Feyenoord victory, because I knew most would go for that 5-1. & I like to be different. :emoticon-0103-cool:

The thrashing of Villa was an amazing one for me as well. Probably not as big as a lot of the games mentioned, but enjoyable as **** after the way they acted when we went down.

Edit; a fair mention to the 7-1 win against the Spuds as well, thats the first game I ever remember watching <ok>

Yes that Feyenoord game was brilliant like, my first Newcastle game on foreign soil, the Man Utd was the most special one for me, just for the fact that it was the year after we lost a 12 point lead to them.

Maybe a strange choice, but for me it was the 3-1 home victory over the Smoggies in 08/09.

That was the game where I really thought we'd avoided the drop (foolishly) and it was a unique game that season as the team appeared to show some grit and steel for a change...it may have taken an extra year, but it all worked out in the end.

The celebrations were incredible when Lover fired in our 3rd, and if you look at the youtube highlights you can see me running down to the pitch to celebrate with the lads before being strangled by my own man as he tries to stop me!

Picked the 5-0 Man Utd game, but I was very young at the time, should have picked the demolition derby tbh.

Think we all thought we'd stay up after that game, the bloody Hull drew at Bolton.
