When we are going to be linked to another 5 players and sign nobody! We need players in before the weekend to get a result against Wigan. Sadly it doesnt look like its going to happen. However its only 9.15am. I am praying to be proved wrong.....
Another fee has been agreed. Will wages be the stumbling block again?? Who knows? We've had a work permit issue and a wages issue this week already. Something new maybe?
Guys, we have said before that this deafening silence likely means that some very serious people are doing some very serious business on behalf of the club. Some have slated Warnock's last minute jamboree and some of the players that came as a result of that. Now we are desperate for annoucements for new players. I suggest we should be glad that when new players are announced, as they inevitably will be, that they are more likely to fill the gaps identified by Mark Hughes and most of us too. I can understand the frustration but we just have to be patient for another 11 days. I have a feeling we are going to be happy in the end and that, surely, is better than a quick fix to keep a few moaney ( myself included) people happy. Hang in there - we are QPR!!
I still doubt wether we will sign anyone during this window.If you make an approach for a player like Alex you know he is going to want 60k a week so to make an approach and then try and negotiate wages downwards you are never going to sign anyone of ability.
