The simple solution to this problem is if you don't want to be enlightened by Chaps vast knowledge on all things SAFC, then stick him on your ignore list... Going back to the OP, both players mentioned would be welcome additions to our squad, but wage demands could be a sticking point, particularly in Wellbecks case.

I think Wellbeck would be preferable to Sturridge, we know he works in our club. But after making his way into the MU first team I can't see him wanting to leave, he has grown up there and has come through the ranks. I imagine MU will make him a decent contract eventually.
