Whatever team we play I trust in. We don't see Ben Arfa in training every day, we don't study the videos of the team we are playing and we don't have years in football manager training (the game doesn't count).

I wish some manager would just turn round to Shola and say that he's **** and needs to up his game if he wants playing time.

To play Shola ahead of Arfa will be the final victory for stupidity over common sense. This cannot and must not happen. Ben Arfa does not lack work rate, like Megadeth said he is a greedy bastard at times but the guy is filled with talent and more importantly knows where the goal is. To have him on the bench while Shola stumbles around and embarrasses himself on the pitch is an insult to his ability imo

Ben Arfa really wasn't that good against QPR, IMO. Would still like to see him start though.

I agree with you, but he was much better than that sack of **** Shola.

    This.

Also really weird to see Tash referred to as Megadeth <laugh>

I thought he was awesome. Nearly everything went through him.

He works harder and creates more than Shola could ever do in his most intense wet dream.

    No brainer?

    Pardew will find a reason....

I'm not overly concerned he's about to jump ship. I think he is happy enough and likes it at Newcastle. I also think he is acutely aware that one departure from a club in hissy fit fashion and his card will be marked by all clubs.

I disagree with Pardew and think he has it wrong with regards to not starting Ben Arfa. However we just have to accept that managers are not always going to make decisions we all want. You can't please everybody all of the time. Of course the vast majority of our fans think he should start. For whatever reason Pardew sees it differently. His reasoning is bollocks for me given he picks players with a far worse work rate (Ameobi) and others who although get back, do **** all defensively once there (Obertan). But he is the manager and he is donig a very good job at present so we've just got to back him.

Edit: If one more person says he can't play on the wing too, they deserve to have their member chopped off. Its bollocks. The lad has spent the majority of his career playing on the wing in France, both at Lyon and Marseille. He might prefer the centre but to suggest he can't play wide is absolute bullcrap. He is both an option as a winger and a 2nd striker.

I'll give everyone a quid if they start referring to Tash as 'Megashit'

If Shola gets a start after last weeks absolute sh.. performance then don't know what Benny has to do to get in. Pardew talks about work rate ( Shola doesn't know the meaning of the word cause he's bloody lazy )

Ben Arfa deserves to start after his last two performances against Blackburn and QPR.

    <doh><doh><doh>

He is better on the rw than Obertan. He played against Blackburn on the right wing and was one of our best players. He has the skill to beat his man and then get the ball on his left and cross, or whip in a better cross than Obertan with his right.

    Exactly, I agree with Megashit.

I'd be inclined to agree. i think he was alright but people make out he was the heartbeat when he was anything but.

the thing is with him he flatters to deceive at times because when he has the ball he tends to use it well when not surrendering possesion cheaply so the flashy stuff he does blinds people to him being annoymous for 20min spells inbetween.

I asked you lot why Ber Arfa wasn't getting games if he was as hot-spit as everyone says and the consensus was he was being protected from injury so he could be played when Ba went to ACON... so is that still the consensus or does Pardew havd a blind spot with the lad (or are you lot over-selling him?)

I'll probably get some abuse from Megashit for asking

    Where's my quid?
