Are you all like me, thinking that our superb run against them will end soon? Looking at the teams, we still should beat them, but then again we should have beat Newcastle, QPR & Wigan. Will the run end this weekend? I ****ing hope not.
I'm never very confident whoever we play, and that remains so for this game. BUT, we always beat West Brom!!
I think West Brom have a habit of beating themselves and that we have been fortunate against them. Long may it continue.
Their best chance of beating us in a long while was last season's agme at the Brit where they absolutely pasted us. Somehow we managed to cling onto a draw thanks to Asmir's elastic arms, but I wouldn't want another game like that this weekend.
We'll do them me thinks. A comfortable 3-0. (I got the correct score vs Gills with almost all the correct goal scorers, just the one mistake)
I also think our extraordinary run against WBA must end at some stage. However, I am just hoping as it is over a month since we won at home we ought to do them. Not for one minute do I think it will be easy. Hoping the weather is kind for the journey up on Saturday!
That's what worries me. It'll be a sad day when the run does come to and end, and our hoodoo over them arguably makes me more pessismistic every time we play them.
Pick the right side i.e Wilkinson / shotton at full back, Pennant on the wing, Fuller on the bench in case things are going wrong, and the inevitable will happen again. It's not so much us always beating WBA, but WBA always find a way to lose against us!
I think West Brom should be forced to run out with a huge picture of Ricardo Fuller glaring down at them from the big screen. That man just loves to terrorise the Baggies!
