Good day to all and i hope we are all well... Not had much time to look at all the cards but a few that i just spotted that took my fancy...

Taunton...
3.20 - Drumshambo, 13/2 - Ive just followed this one for a little while and hasnt let me down yet. CD winner lto and with the same conditions. I think has every chance...

Ludlow...
1.40 - Top Benefit, 7/2 - To be honest ive looked at the market and its come in from 6/1 to 7/2 - Has Praicewise tipped it up...<whistle> Not a big bet but im following the money...

2.10 - Eldred, 9/2 - With Fiddlededee having a 7lb rise and Hohleythelonely only running a 3m 6 days ago im taking a chance with the Henderson runner getting up to win after a break. Ran ok lto at this track, and a chance again here today...

Good luck to all who play today...<cheers>

Lunch will be a hot lamb sandwich from last nights meal... Dont know what bread as ive no idea what's in...<ok>

Afternoon All,

Some good racing today, but some really difficult races to try and pick winners from. My alert list has highlighted Holmwood Legend (3.50 Taunton) and Mallusk(3.00 Lingfield) today, but cant remember why i had them on there in first place, and the list probably needs a bit of a tidy up,but both could be an each way play.

There are two I like the chances of at Ludlow today, Top Benefit (1.40) and Flemish Invader (2.40). The first ran well last season and should come on for it's recent run out at Wincanton, added to the fact that I think it has the best jockey in this race on it and should go close. The latter's race will be close and Carrickmines would go off favourite, however, I think Flemish Invader is the sort to catch fresh and can come out on top today.

Over at Taunton, I like the chances of Lord Crewe (2.50), who I feel can make the most of the conditions today, and with the yard in form can go close in what is a competitive heat. Over at Thurles in Ireland, there is some good racing to be had and in the 2.05 I am keen on the chances of Askanna, who won impressively lto at Limerick and if it jumps as well again today, should have the beating of the short priced fav and the Mullins Horse. the 3.35 should also see another horse run up a double, this time Becketts Rock is my pick.

Good Luck to all who play today

Really like PICKAPOCKETORTWO in the opener at Thurles. Improving sort who got the better of a horse I really rate last time out (Ipsos Du Berlais). I do think the Martin horse is a danger but I do think he is a poor price at 13/8 - 7-2 for the Mullins runner <ok>

The daily thread back discussing the topic it does best. Let’s be honest and realistic, people, its not those dappy ponies but lunch! I’ve just devoured roast chicken, roast potatoes and salad at the ‘top table’ and there is a rumour going around that tomorrow we are getting cod and chipped potatoes. Woooohoooooo! You never got such a treat under ‘New’ Labour.

Meanwhile, I see that Mr Henderson’s Trozulon has got multiple entries from Sunday-Tuesday hopeful this time around he will take one of them up. Keep a close eye on this one, people.

Always fish on a Friday, Oddy. Apparently all sorts of things will happen to you if you break that rule.
