Well I was living in a townhouse in Corby at the time and I made so much noise jumping around and screaming that my wife stormed up the 2 flights of stairs expecting to see me lying in a heap having a heart attack or I had been attacked my a monster. Instead I was shouting at the TV screen, saying I don't believe it Doyley has scored, Lloyd Doyley has scored get in!!!!!!!!!. It did not go down too well with the other half But I could not have cared less, Lloyd Doyely had scored!!!!!!!!!!!
She does not understand football her ex wasn't into football, I never quite trust a man who doesn't like football
Morning all, its grey and overcast here, but rather mild compared to the start of the week. This could be my last week doing the parcels as i am back at uni next week and have lectures in the mornings on thurs and fri. I envy you H, i would love to meet him. Unfortunately i was not there and was not listening to the match either, i only found out when my dad called me and shouted DOYLEY!! down the phone.
Morning all, oh it is afternoon. Went with daughter this morning to open a French bank account for her and family as they are hoping to move soon. One and a half hours later it has been done with only a small forest destroyed to create the paperwork required.
I was watching this! Nick Hewer didn't know what to do!! Gotta love the Beeb too! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-16627873
Blimey, that was quick! only an hour and a half. Normally they say you are missing a vital piece of paperwork that ends up in a wild goose chase that they then say they don't need!
Aw hon, yeah, ya had to be there, he was looking for people who had the tee shirt..i'm such a saddo lol. Me neither! ...ooh..hang on a sec...um...i think i'm married to one of those! lol omg...that's awful! If...they're guilty..
So we think our owner has a less than hugely successful past to his business ventures. He seems to be a shining example of all that is good when compared to the goings on down at the south coast. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...om-Atlantis-confident-of-Portsmouth-deal.html
Seeing as I'll be away from my computer tomorrow, I'm putting the Friday drinks on the bar early!!!! View attachment 9548 and don't forget your WPL predictions if you haven't already posted. H, I'm looking forward to hearing all about your interview with Jon Marks today. I sent him a message via Twitter asking him for a Jeremy Paxman style grilling of you!!
More footballers are accused of sexual assault. Guilty or not guilty why do these young men get into a position that ruins their careers?
So today i went to Vicarage Road. Have you ever been there when there's noone there? It's the weirdest feeling. There were three of us, two lovely young boys, and me...the grandma of the group! We were introduced to Lloyd Doyley (coz we were there as part of the celeberation of his Testimonial year), and his lovely son, who's a real sweetie. As it was beginning to get dark, they decided to film all the Lloydy bits first, which took quite a while. Though Jon Marks offered us to go inside, we didn't bother, we were just enjoying being by the pitch (which looked a little muddy sadly...though it was suggested that we get Saracens to play on it on 26 January so that Spurs would find it difficult on Friday!). When they were done, they decided they'd fake a meeting with Lloyd and we'd just get chatting to him, asking him questions and stuff...and then they could let him go (to get his daughter) while they asked us how we felt about 'the goal'..and other Lloyd Doyley related topics. However, after the meety bit, during which we didn't ask any questions lol, the producer (a very lovely guy til he announced he was a Reading fan ) thought they probably had enough coz the airtime for the 3 of us would probably be about 20 seconds lol. Hey ho, my 15 minutes of fame will be drastically reduced...but it was great fun having a chat after the whole thing, with Lloyd D, (who signed our "i was there when Lloyd Doyley scored" tee shirts, and Jon Marks, who is a very lovely chap, as well as the producer and cameraman (who is a Saracens fan - nuff said!). So, no interview, just a relaxing chat, and we probably all look very odd lol...but it'll be on Late Kick Off, probably on Monday, as we're playing Brum on Saturday and LD's debut match was against Birmingham (bet you didn't know that )... The sweetest thing about LD, and i've said it before, is that he is a naturally lovely bloke. As i was walking back to the car, he stopped his lovely white Range Rover, and wound down the window, asking me if he could give me a lift anywhere. What a great bloke, and one of the reasons he will always be a fans favourite, and will definitely be a Watford Legend. So, if it's crap, i apologise, but if not, i won't be too embarrassed (though i suspect i will be! lol)
WOW H!!!!! I am in awe of you right now!!!! That sounds like a truly amazing day. Congrats, it could not happen to a better lady. I am loving the idea of having Sarries play on the 26th, and we can cut up the training pitch so as to get practice on it!! I will have to look out for the Late show on I-player maybe.
Some must be pushing their status with young girls and need to be stopped but some must caught by girls who are troublemakers.
