At least when they look like drowning they will have a sanctuary to head for.

Don't know what they did bad but by god they seem to be paying for it now. (fans not the club)

Actually, the more I think of it the worse it becomes.

If the FL permit this deal to be sanctioned Pompey would have a maior advantage of the rest of us.

The Skates would be playing in their own habitat and the rest of us would need to lug around special breathing equipment etc etc etc..

Basically saying won't be spending which won't be helping the club in the slightest.

    Yes, it's very fishy. <laugh>

Seriously, the whole 'underwater' resort thing is just odd. The only person I know of who lived underwater was Mr. Stromberg, a villain in a James Bond film!

This will end in tears. For the skates. And of laughter from some sections of the Saints fanbase.

One by one the previous owners have got Pompey into deeper and deeper water (pardon the joke)..there was never a need for a club with reasonable sized support to get in this mess. I would want to see the money first before I'd sell this man my car. Seems to create apparent 'wealth' out of nothing. It would be better in the long term for Pompey to fold and rebuild again with an owner or supporters group which loves the club. They have enough support to start again. I hope I'm wrong but this looks terminal to me.

Good god what a disaster, not just for Pompey but for the Football League...Cala is such a transparent grifter that no one in their right mind should loan him a penny, let alone take him at his word that he'll invest £20m or more.

Sicilian businessman? Underwater hotels...complete with concrete slippers one would guess! Don Cortese may have to go the mattresses.

Even though this guy looks flakier than the rust on my car, got to say love the idea of underwater hotels, but can't say I'd have a restful sleep in one.

Just trying to make sense why he is possibly buying into a football club?

He can't even afford anything tho. The money he has is from the people he has ripped off from his investment schemes. Like the under water casinos and hotels <laugh>. His company hasn't made a single pound or whatever they call it where he lives.

Who in their right mind wants to sleep underwater? I always look for cracks under the Sea Life tunnel.

Not my cup of tea. Saying that, I've always wondered why people go on cruises. You sit in the cabin, 1500 people get simultaneously ill, then you arrive.....back home. Dull. (& thats without the sinking)

Cruise liners are fantastic, then they ruin it by putting them on water. I'd prefer it if they never set sail, then they'd be ....a hotel. The IOW ferry is enough water for me...never mind having it over your head.

Isn't it time they became a community club. I know that would upset a few fans and their ambitions would need curtailing, but surely that would be better than this fiasco they keep going through. If I supported them, I'd be thinking life in Lg1 and sensible low key ownership would be ok

really hope they go out of business, watch them cry for their club on the news and then put the knife in...
