GDC - I've been blowing Cross Kennons trumpet ever since his failed stint chasing, 66s or even 80s I think is available for a horse who is guaranteed to turn up and went past Big Bucks half a dozen strides after the line last year.
I'm not kidding myself that he can beat BB but he could easily place and at a crazy price....

Grizzly: It will all depend on whether Jennie can get the mare there fit and well again. Personally I am happy to stick with Five Dreams mate.

Don: Sounds good, i shall have to check the dates with Brendan

I think Zaynar at 16s for the Jewson could be a bet.

    As mentioned in other threads

Just put on 2 ante post bets tonight!

Empire Levant County Hurdle -25's just disappeared in the last 1/2 hr in to 16's probably because Nicholls himself tipped this up tonight on twitter

Dildar JCB Hurdle- 20/1 is apparently a few stages ahead of where Zarkandar was from this time last year!!

Don't want to dampen your enthusiasm Wooly but Nicholls was full of it about 1833 for the RSA this time last year

There's a 4year old hurdle run on a Saturday a few weeks before Cheltenham that Zaranda won last season that is traditionally the pointer to the winner of the Triumph. Whoever wins that will carry my money.

I still also like Hinterland for it too, think the hill will suit greatly and can see him powering up it!!

Good man. That's the one. Now all that's left to do is find the winner of that race and take a price for th Triumph before the race.

You gonna have bet on the race itself or just watch and wait for the outcome??

It wouldn't exactly shock if he did do that. I still like Grumeti but the price is dreadful given the doubts (however slight) about that slip today.

Last year I backed the other Nicholls horse in that race for the Triumph at 33's on the morning of the race. Didn't have anything on the actual race on th day though. I've taken it as a moral victory ever since.

I thought Nicholls said he was going to Taunton on the 21st and then straight to Cheltenham . . .

That was what CheltFestNews reported on Twitter anyway!

I know- how does a horse that falls actually gets shorter after the race?? I know he was travelling well but he fluffed the jump! but to win at the festival your jumping has to be 100%!!
