Who has a better starting XI?

Id say our starting lineup is better than Arsenal's also......

Just need to catch Chelsea for 4th place.....

 

well there squad is alot better then ours without a doubt.
Our starting 11 when fully fit is better. The only person id take is gerrad. But not for cabaye. gerrad would need to be 5 years younger

 

i think we have as good a line up as chelsea and arsenal when 11 fully fit. But that is a bit biased. Chelseas ageing squad and pre match injections and arsenal's poor performances are the only reason i think this

 

Gerrard would walk into our 11 to be fair lol, as would Suarez. Everyone else isn't any better than what we have

 

suarez is a diving fanny like c ronaldo. He would not get into out starting 11 without a few years playing football correctly
Gerrad would walk right in true. But id take a young cabaye over an ageing gerrad anyday. If he was a toon fan id feel different ^_^

 

Lol, well I wouldn't go out and sign them - that's unrealistic lol. But, if both of them players were here, they'd be in the team. Something like:

Krul

Simmo - Tayls - Colo - Santon

Gerrard - Tiote - Cabaye

Suarez - Cisse - Ba

 

Funnily enough we beat Man Utd 4-1 at Old Trafford in the same week, then beat Aston Villa 5-0 IIRC.

Or something like that. Obviously Tayls/Lucas injured.

 

I'd probably go along with most of that, I'd quibble over the inclusion of Coloccini, Santon and Ben Arfa over Agger, Johnson and Bellamy but there's not much point trying to argue it as it'd never be settled seeing as everyone is loyal towards their own players and club and tends to wear rose tinted spectacles when comparing their own team's players to other team's players.

 

Lol, yeah it pretty close between most. Like Krul and Reina is aswell. Colo got to be in there like. Maybe Colo/Agger?

Assuming all are fit. Could easily bring in Ben Arfa for Cabaye and a left-winger, who I'm unsure of, for Tiote, and play a 4-4-2.

IMO Krul is in better form than Reina, Santon is an immense fullback with the potential to become world class (and thats not being deluded if you have watched him for a full game recently), gone with Colo and Taylor as they had the best defence in the league together, Enrique is probs the best LB in the league, Tiote and Cabaye are great midfielders, both ball winners and Cabaye can play ball up to front 4 also have great engines, Ben Arfa is a no brainer i think amazing talent, Gerrard is the just world class, Ba proves he is one of the best strikers in the league with his goalscoring record, Cissé is a top class finisher.

That team could even challenge for the title i honestly think, and before the Liverpool fans bash that team, i fell your team is good but only great when Gerrard plays.
