We've played a few youth cup matches at the Lane before and there's a good few Liverpool fans in London so hopefully they'll open the ground up and make a bit of a spectacle of it. Otherwise it'll be at the Spurs Lodge which is our training complex.

the first match v lisbon was at anfield and we got about 5k people in, all on the kop so it is a bit strange.

if they ticket right (and mostly to cover policing cost) you might get 10k in. that would be enough to make it a bigger experience. you got the home draw anyway and it seems to be a single leg.

The 7-1 against Inter was at the Matchroom Stadium.
That's Brisbane Road, renamed by Barry Hearn, Orient's chairman.

Are you sure? All of the home games were listed to be at Brisbane Road but I thought all of them were at the Spurs Lodge?

Fair play you were dead right, I never doubted you, they have a fantastic academy that has produced some very good player's over the year's.

    NEXTGEN - SPURS 1-0 LIVERPOOL
    Posted 01 February 2012 7:11pm
Shaq Coulthirst's goal toppled Liverpool in the NextGen Series at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.

It was a performance of both silk and steel from the lads as they enjoyed good possession at times but also had to defend for periods of the match.
That was particularly true as Liverpool tried everything to find an equaliser in the final 15 minutes.
Jonathan Miles made two fine saves in as many minutes, Alex Pritchard threw himself in to block Raheem Sterling's goalbound effort and hearts were in mouths in the final seconds as Sterling's effort fell to Adam Morgan, who angled his effort across Miles - and inches wide.
Tim Sherwood's team started well and Jake Nicholson was denied an early goal when Tyrell Belford smothered his close-range header.
Liverpool had the best of the chances after that. Michael Ngoo failed to get a shot off 10 yards out and then missed the target one-on-one and Miles was at his best to get a hand to Sterling's low shot from point-blank range.
The pace of the game was maintained in the second half as the teams traded chances.
Tomislav Gomelt glanced Pritchard's free-kick just wide before Nicholson and then Kevin Stewart blocked efforts from Ngoo and Toni Silva.
The breakthrough arrived on 71 minutes. Substitute Nabil Bentaleb's snapshot from 20 yards was parried out by Belford and Coulthirst beat Souleymane Coulibaly to the rebound and buried from six yards.
Liverpool pushed on for the equaliser. Miles did superbly to deflect Sterling's measured effort wide and then turn away Silva's header from the corner.
Morgan fired wide, Miles clawed away the same player's header and then in the second of three minutes' added time, Pritchard got a foot to Sterling's piledriver and the ball looped over.
That still handed the Reds a final chance, Sterling's effort from the corner landed at Morgan's feet and his effort appeared to angle inches wide in slow motion as the home fans held their breath.
Spurs (4-3-3): Miles; Barthram (Ekong, 79), Veljkovic, Nicholson, Stewart; Luongo, Pritchard, Gomelt (Bentaleb, 64); Coulthirst, Coulibaly, Munns. Unused subs: Granger, Ceballos, McEvoy, Angol.
Liverpool (4-2-3-1): Belford; McLoughlin, Wisdom, Sama, Flanagan; Coady, Roddan; Silva, Fernandez (Morgan, 77), Sterling; Ngoo (Adorjan, 77). Unused subs: Ward, McGiveron, Pelosi, Emilsson.
    Referee: Mr A Davies.

good news I suppose, they were unlucky to lose but it must have a bit of a hollow feeling for the lads. Good job we don't have many bitters on here anymore, they would love this.
