RIP LEEDS UNITED.

Livid is not the word. The storys been leaked as well! I bet we were going to find out about this move on the 31st of Jan so Bates could sit on the interest leaving us fans asking what happened to the Howson money?

Bates must feel the wrath now. He is not welcome anywhere near our great club and I hope everyone of our moron supporters tell him exactlly that.

I think I agree, sadly I feel it has to get worse before it can get better.

All that worked back in the 70s/80s NW. I'm as frustrated as you, but Bates couldn't give a crap about fans protests or if people renewed their season tickets. This clubs a hobby for him, he doesn't care about the club or the history or what the fans think. The only thing that protesting will do is to lose the club money, lose any decent players we have and give Bates an excuse to blame the clubs problems on us(the fans).
I respect your thinking and hope it works. I'm certainly no fan of Bates.

How to get by without lining Bates pockets. A mass protest for AT LEAST one game.

Either pick a game when we are on TV or get an illegal audio stream (do not even log on to LUTV minster FM/yorkshire Radio this may have an affect on sponsorships) No attendance equals no outrageously high program sales, no extra revenue from food/beer and no additional merchandise sold (I have had 4 Marcon shirts in the last 2 years that have all fell apart, worst quality shirts so far so no loss there) If you really need a Leeds united fix, get to the away games & look at dealers on sites such as ebay for ‘classic LUFC’ products rather than lining that lying crook Coffin dodger Bates pockets any further.

I appreciate its cutting your nose of to spite your face but would you seriously not stand up for yourself if someone was personally mugging you off week after week & destroying something you hold so dear?

I am seriously becoming numb to the pain now, numb enough to see an empty Elland road on TV if it gets our point across, numb enough for the players to go without our support for a game and numb enough to break the news once again to my young sons that we have lost another quality player. Nothing surprises me with Bates bleeding OUR club dry.

If I'm honest Bucks, I'm immuned to the crap that is happening to my club. Been there, worn the t-shirt etc etc. Nothing surprises me any more. Bates won't listen. He has the money, he's in a win win situation. The club does well he makes money, the club doesn't do well and he has the option to sell and make money.
Honestly I don't know what the solution is. All I know is that it's splitting the fans up, opinions wise. Ironic that the clubs anthem is MARCHING ON TOGETHER.

I just feel we are at breaking point, and like you know something must be done but what and how can we get at Bates without hurting our own club? I dont think we can but I know we cant let it go on anymore.

I'm doing my bit by buying a euro millions ticket for Friday so be prepared to sell up Ken or I will send the boys round <ok>

Bucks it's seemed out of character, because you come across as a very laid back, level headed individual.

While we don't want to be held to ransom by players, it's seems that there is a lack of ambition by the club(Bates)
But look at Leicester, paying big bucks(no pun intended) spending millions, but they are lower in the league than us.

As for protesting, look at Blackburn, it's not working, although I don't understand why they are.

Make a Facebook group, get it on Twitter, get it on ALL the forums (Vital Leeds can get articles on the well-read NewsNow), tell everyone to pass it on to their mates, tell the press and get it out there on the internet and in the local papers. Good luck mate.

It's hard enough to get 40,000 into the ground, never mind 40,000 to protest.
