H, trust me it sounds posh, but it isn't;) The best thing is you can buy a beer with lunch ;) it's great not having to drive so lunch with a beer <party> Lunch is taken in the bar which is very much downstairs so to speak;) So off to the Embassy we go;) then a bit of retail therapy and back to sort out my car insurance:( Why is it so difficult and every year the premiums go up<grr>

Morning all. Its gray and overcast here today, which is a change from the bright blue skies we have had. Today is a rest day, reading my uni books and researching for my dissertation. Also doing my washing.

So at the eleventh hour and fifty-nine minutes someone comes up with £50,000 (reported sum) to keep Darlington alive until the end of the month and enable the next three games to be played.

While this is only a make shift arrangement for now, it is hoped that a community club can be salvaged from the disaster of previous owners.

Let us hope that it can work and the fans of many years will still have their team.

That is great news that they are able to play, but who is going to play? They sacked the manager and first team players.

Iv'e just seen some pictures of the new BBC HQ in Salford - my god, what a soulless looking dump. Whoever designed that building should be made to work washing tables in McDonalds for the rest of their lives. I am surprised that Ponce Charles has not created a stink and called it a Verruca or something....

Oh well, that doesn't sound quite so posh, admittedly lol. Hope your credit cards survived the retail therapy! I know what you mean about car insurance, mine has just come up for renewal, it's mad money this year :(

Well, that's relatively good news... i hope they manage to pull things round..

i didn't know the BBC were moving! Are they leaving White City?

    i did

Relatively good news for Darlo but I've just read on Sky text that Northwich Victoria are to be evicted from their ground at 5pm tomorrow. It was on there as the end paragraph of the Darlo story. It probably wouldn't even have got a mention if it wasn't for their cup exploits in the 70s as they are currently 2 levels below the Conference

morning all, thanks for the coffee Ak, helping myself.

Awake far too early this morning, everyone in the house seemed very noisy today, and somehow the cat decided to let himself in and snuggle with me under the covers...strange puss!

You'll never guess who i'm going to meet today! :)

Sorry, morning everyone. My nose is now bright red and constantly streaming with this bloody cold. To make things worse I'm going to our warehouse in Lincolnshire all day tomorrow and it's bloody freezing up there. It will be the first time this year that I'll be wearing at least 4 layers, if not more :(.

I'll update the WPL reminder before I go to make sure we get everyone predicting. <ok>
