I'm laughing at Ken Bates Is that signiture of yours a message to Ken himself? For the record I don't think he's good enough for the step up (from the limited amount of times i've seen him) and he shouldn't be a massive loss to you (assuming he goes)
and you rate Andy King so highly? Howson is a class player in the attacking mid role, in the standard 4-4-2 hes average but played in the right position with good players around him he wil be awesome
I don't rate King any higher or any lower. Apart from last season where King was brilliant. I think they're virtually the exact same players in every aspect.
In the same Sun column this morning, just below the "Howson to Norwich" article was news that Bolton are after Clayton. I know this has been doing the rounds for a while but all of a sudden with Howson going it looks all the more likely that we'll have a ****ing mass exodus on our hands. The Bates masterplan is really ramping up now. BATES OUT !

Is this the reason Lorimer leaked the Delph news? Mcleish said Grayson had tried to phone him but he hadnt spoke to him as of yet so the Delph rumour is or was clearly bollocks at that stage.
Trying not to get too sceptical here, but it does wreak of the usual 'we were close to signing him, but there were last minute complications' will shut the fans up rubbish. I was shocked Delph was available for loan when the rumour first came out, and now it's looking like he might not have been all along

Its near on impossible not to be sceptical anymore about anything related to Leeds United. And the fact they are disapointed this news was leaked pisses me off as well. I know the contracts havent been signed yet, but they will & when were we going to find out? 31st of Jan would have been my guess.
To be honest I don't really give a **** about Delph now, what hope is there long term? Delph on loan, Lees, Snodgrass and Clayton next to be accused of wanting too much. It is always one step forward and two back with us and bates in charge.
Don´t worry, if he agrees terms, we´ll look after him, just as we have done with BJ, who incidentally has been a revelation, hoping and expecting the same from Howson. Can understand your frustration, but can also understand the player´s ambition.
No one blames Howson Its Bates thats the problem. Even if we could have matched Norwichs wage offer if the lad wants prem footy whilst he can still cut it he is better of jumping ship because we arent looking like we are going to make it without a serious shake up of our wage policy.
