Statement from Hill-Wood yesterday that not qualifying for the Champions League would not be a disaster. What a stupid thing to say. Firstly it says "we don't care if we qualify," and secondly...yes it would be!! The club wouldn't be able to attract the same calibre of player and would lose its current best performer. Not a disaster!? Have a word!

how out of touch with the tens of thousands of supporters- and key players is that? A right buffoon.

  3. I think they know that the club is up against it and this is just damage limitation. It is doubtful if many supporters would take comfort from being able to cope without the CL since not being in the CL raises wider implications. It isn't just the money. It's players leaving and players not wanting to come to the club. That is the longer term damage and the responsibility for that lies in management suites of N5.

Oh if only supporters could sack the board and management team.

now there's a thought to savour! 'Board members required - apply to Not606 - you will be required to present your CV and be interviewed by internet. Applicants should have SOME knowledge of football - against the employment trend at this club currently.'

    Has a sort of attraction?
