Leave this place for a day, and return to meltdown...

We didn't get pap...we may have not even been after him, who cares..

He may turn out to be their new Sheeeeera, but also may turn out to be the next in a long line that includes Owen, Tomasson etc.

    Enough of that ****e...

    Now cheer up.

We have the mew man in charge, so in him we trust..

But we want facts on the man in charge, and all these facts should have a sound solid base....

(it's only for a bit of fun)

    Facts..

1.MoN can stare into the sun, and the sun will back off
2.MoN can eat fruit pastilles without chewing
3.MoN can get a Mc'Donalds breakfast at any time of day.
4.MoN bite Tysons ear, and Tyson cried.

    anymore?

I'm cheered up commo but must admit to being astounded at some of the reactions yesterday, dont understand at all. For 12 months I have heard over and over again that we need a striker. Yesterday at 10 we looked like we had one and read how good he was, how excited everyone was, it got me excited hearing how excited everyone was.

By 5 he had signed for Newcastle, and I felt a big let down so said so, some reactions made me feel like I had committed treason.

Now I read how he may not have been that good afterall, he would take a year to settle, I was confused.

I have complete faith in MON but cant understand how we no longer need the striker we have needed for 12 months.

I heard that tyson bit MoN's ear and broke his teeth

Re Cisse - I rated the lad from what I've seen of him (very little admittedly) but didn't realise he was playing in a relegation fodder team and hardly anyone else has scored for them this season - the Bundesligue isn't that good really outside of the top 2 or 3.

I said before I'd have liked to sign Cisse but wouldn't have been too bothered if we didn't sign anyone - if Wickham is fully fit and Campbell gets fully fit then our strike force (none of which are African) is pretty healthy for the season - moreso for the next 4 or 5 weeks! And there's less chance of players injuring themselves playing for their ACN country - has Elmo gone to the ACN BTW? Shows how much impact the competition has on our side eh?

This is a Martin O'Neil fact (an actual true one). As you may or may not know, my family are Irish and my uncle (through marriage to my Mam's sister) is a massive Villa fan, he was also a fairly proficeint Gaelic football coach...A young Martin O'Neill used to play a fair bit of both sports, my uncle saw him and was massively impressed. He wrote a letter to Villa explaining the strengths and merits of a young GAA player who would be perfect for them....After a month or so, he got a letter back essentially saying "Thanks, but no thanks" - a week later he had signed for Forrest!

He may not be able to walk on water (yet) but he has us all pals again and after the last few weeks up to The end of November, that's more than a minor miracle. Lol
