All hail Beckford!!!

Top class tonight from him, his work rate has improved alot and he now has bagged a hat trick. Absolutely top class all round

One person who has to take alot of credit aswell is Nigel Pearson, alot of people have layed into Beckford me included and Nigel has managed him superbly and now we are reaping the benefits. I never doubted his ability and he has scored goals everywhere, the only problem i had was his work rate which has improved alot and after tonight he was won the fans over

When we signed Beckford he was lazy and couldnt be bothered. Tonight he was chasing losts causes and got around the pitch alot more. Took his chances very well

 

And the team created the chances for him, well Kasper did

 

Wellens and Danns looked alot better and i think that was the key. Andy King just slows the team down and doesnt contribute much. Just need to get an understanding between Beckford and Nugent going

 

Couldn't agree more Proud, I just hope we move on from this and it not becoming another false dawn, still I'll relish the victory and sleep a lot sounder tonight

 

Nigel has said we have bid for others clubs played in different positions and thats all he will say. If the other clubs want to "Bleet" to the media thats up to them.

 

Apparently Beckford felt ill after the match. Must be why he usually avoids working so hard!

 

Yeah Nigel said Beckford has a cold, Peltier told Stringer he was surprised Beckford even turned up

I never said he was a bad player or wouldnt score goals. I just said his work rate and attitude was **** which they was. But he has looked alot better recently. And the hat trick is just the icing on the cake

 

I dont think he really wanted the attention tbh.

Glad for him, hope the team is exactly the same next week, especially Danns in the middle, real hard worker, but as ive said before, its Danns or King, not both.

 

After his last interview backfired i think he will be keeping as far away from Stringer as he can

 

Although it had a lot to do with Danns running the game, though.

 

I think it had more to do with King not playing to be honest

Nigel said the signs dont look good for him with his injury

 

Worse things could happen at the moment.

Although form is temporary, as we've seen tonight with Beckford.

 

Nigel has to take alot of credit for how he has changed Beckford mentality but it was a case of either change or be gone

 

Beckford hasnt really felt wanted yet, when he signed we all thought he was going to bang in goals and it didnt happen, his work rate then got everybodys backs up. Nigel has had to do alot of work with him and it looks like paying off.

Yeah, I saw them laughing and joking. Then he went serious and whispered something in his ear.
