Im think its fantastic news about our new number nine.
but.........
Is anyone else getting strange feeling that only reason cisse has come is because Ba is going?

Can't see him leaving now. Summation must have been said to make cisse sign....I.e. Ba is staying long term...

I'm pretty sure today was the last chance to sign ACON players before the tournament starts, so it's almost definite that Ba is staying until at least summer. Also, as has been mentioned, having his friend with him will mean he's more likely to stay!

enough of this negativity, the sooner we get rid of that feeling coming with every bit of excitement we get, the sooner we can get on with getting our club back where it belongs, battling with the big boys on the european stage. With Cisse playing with Ba over in ACoN, Ba will be able to help him get ready for the change in style of the PL. We have every reason to be excited over this and I can almost guarantee this is a perfect addition to help Ba sign along the dotted line for another 5 years of outstanding goal scoring ability. Our defence and attack are looking stronger than they have done for a long time and thats not to mention our midfield who look fantastic too.
Not only Ba but you've got to think players like Colo are sat tonight thinking 'the club looks like it really is moving forward finally, i may stick around and see what happens...'

Wonder if Jose regrets moving to the Scousers...
The majority of his interview he spoke about Ba. I don't understand why people can't see it's a signing and not a replacement, we were going to sign a striker in August but didn't have any deals which were good enough, they've waited and got a great deal.
Perhaps when Ba spoke about his 'project' at Newcastle, Cisse arriving was part of that? would make sense, will be a hell of a pairing potentially.
